Raven Black Tickets

First off, Raven Black is probably the best band to come out in the past 10 years. The lead singer has amazing range, of course you wouldn't know that from the poor sound tech. During the show the band kept asking for the guitars to be turned down and Raven could not hear her voice. Again, it is a shame because it is an amazing voice. This is not the first time I have experienced poor sound at the Masquerade. The singers from the other 4 bands weren't really heard very well either although two had better sound then the others. At least the band sounded great. Second, it was very disappointing that so few people came out, especially on a Friday night. Atlanta is not a metal city by no means and I hate it. The band still put on a great show but you could tell it was disappointing to them also. After the show, only two of the members came out. The lead guitarist is very talented and he was very nice. Raven was a bit more distant but maybe she was tired or maybe didn't like me for some reason. :)
