Raul Midon Tickets

This one-man show was unbelievable. If he had only played his acoustic guitar it would have been well worth the price of admission. But when you add in his voice (even the trumpet voice) he just blew us away. He is a classic musician who is so very accomplished that I stood in awe as he played guitar and bongos simultaneously while singing. Hardly ever was his singing in a monolithic rhythm with his playing. Simply put, HE WAS AMAZING! Even covered Al Jarreau's version of "Spain". Would love to hear him perform with a band and backup.

Mr. Midon was incredible. His finger work on the guitar was amazing to watch. I’d recommend his show to anyone looking for something different for a night out. Highly entertaining.

I bought our tickets to this show without knowing any of his music. I bought them some based on the excerpts written about him and his music in en email sent to me about the show. Raul far surpassed the adjectives like “eclectic” and “amazing.” He truly is a marvel and I recommend seeing him live. You won’t believe your eyes or ears. He plays multiple instruments at the same time, including a horn section solely with his mouth.

Both were phenomenal - kept secrets that need to blow up the music scene--that's real talent, showmanship, and entertainment!!! They both need their own show. Howard Theater please consider taking one table out if each row--seating too damn tight!

Raul Midon is so talented. First time seeing Avery Sunshine. She was the opening act. What a delight!

Avery Sunshine was a great opening act for Raul. I was not familiar with her music. Beautiful voice and spirit. I will definitely buy her CD when released later this month. There are not enough words to describe Raul Midon. I have been a follower of his artistic genius for some years now. I have heard him perform in large venues like Wolf Trap Theater in VA and small intimate settings like Birchmere in Alexancdria, VA. I am always amazed by his musical abilities. How can he play the bongos, guitar and mouth trumpet all at the same time? Simply Amazing. I would highly recommend to any music lover that you check him out if you have never seen/heard him before.. He never disappoints!

I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the talent of Raul Midon. I honestly went to see the newly renovated Howard Theatre and found myself amazed at the entertainment.

I can't wait until Raul Midon returns to the area. This was the best concert I've ever attended! What an amazing talent!
