RATT IN CONCERT:

With big hooks and even bigger hair, legendary LA glam rockers Ratt helped define the sound of the Sunset Strip in the '80s with guitar-driven anthems like "Round and Round." Following several reunion tours in the 2000s, Ratt released Infestation — their first new album in over 10 years — in 2010, and proved they hadn't lost any of their pomp with yet another vigorous tour. Those nostalgic for the days when guitars were literally wielded like axes take note: Ratt returned to the studio in 2013, with select tour dates and plans for an album release in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

”Ratt rocked it, sounded just as great as when I saw them in the 80's! Loved every minute... Can't wait to see them again!"

"Ratt was a fun and entertaining show, bringing back the old memories of the ‘80s."

"Ratt put on a great show on Friday... I would definitely see them again when they come back around."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

After cutting their teeth in LA's infamous early-'80s club scene, Ratt made their major label debut in 1984 with Out of the Cellar, a definitive moment of glam metal. Propelled by the dual guitar work of twin leads Robbin Crosby and Warren Demartini, the album landed at No. 7 on the Billboard 200, benefiting from extensive MTV airplay of the band's glammed up music videos. Over the years Ratt have toured extensively, sharing the stage with fellow metal icons including Mötley Crüe, Iron Maiden, and Sebastian Bach.

    Ratt was great

by BAKMSB on 7/17/09Myth - Maplewood

The concert would have been 5 star for sure had it not been at the Myth. Young punk kids, not even old enough to drink, let alone remember 1983, in the smoking area smoking pot, getting pushy, just being idiots. With that said, I would definitely reconsider seeing ANY band at the MYTH, but I would see Ratt anytime, anywhere. Last saw them without Steven Pearcy at another local venue outdoors a couple years ago. I have to say that Steven truly does make the band what it was, but both times they performed with high energy and great sound.

    Ratt was fantastic

by BigRatt on 7/17/09Stars and Stripes Festival - Mt Clemens

Ratt put on a great show. The best since their hayday in the 80's. They seem to be back to old form and played great. Loved hearing the old tunes!

    Awesome setup

by matman on 7/17/09Stars and Stripes Festival - Mt Clemens

Anyone smart enough to purchase the VIP experience for this event had to enjoy the value for the minimum investment of a $25 ticket. The price paid for the VIP admission was well worth the price and the service was outstanding...not to mention the proximity to the stage. Ratt was disappointing when it took them an hour to hit the stage, but that was the only bad part of the evening.

    Ratt ATTACK!!

by MickeyTazz on 7/15/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Opening with the first cut off their first album, Ratt entered the stage to Bobby Blotzer's thundering snare and kick intro of Sweet Cheater. The onslaught of Demartini's and Corabi's guitars which followed created a wall of sound to be reckoned with. This was all anchored by the massive bass of Robbie Crane, now a long tenured member of the band. The unmistakable voice of Stephen Pearcy was the final complement to this formidable mix. Pearcy and the band swaggered through timeless classics such as, Lay It Down, Your In Love, Way Cool Junior, and Back For More. For the hardcore fans they pulled out deeper cuts such as, I Want A Woman, I'm Insane and Tell The World. The Wildhorse Saloon had the band dialed in and the packed venue was thoroughly rocked!! Fans wait eagerly for their much anticipated new album scheduled for release this year.

    Ratt was terrific

by Kefro on 7/15/09Myth - Maplewood

We recently saw Ratt at the Myth night club in Maplewood, Minnesota. They played very well and the place that it was at is wonderful. For any Ratt lovers, I would highly recommend going to see them in a city near you. Brought back alot of memories from the hairband days. Gotta love the 80's

    RATT still rocks!

by billyman on 7/15/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

They still sound good, but the comaraderie wasn't there. Stephen Percy & Warren DeMartini didn't interact at all. Either they were having an "off" night, or they just don't like each other. Regardless, the music was good, the atmospere fun & over-all, the event was a good one.

by Rustynutz on 7/14/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Awesome! Wildhorse is a great venue for concerts. I saw Ratt in the 80's and their show and sound is still great! I didnt care for the opening band but they were ok. I just wished the show would have been longer.

    RATT SHOW WAS GOOD...BUT..

    by STAR13R on 7/13/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

RATT SHOW AT THE WILDHORSE SALOON WAS GOOD EXCEPT FOR A COUPLE THINGS. FIRST GOTTA SAY IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE ROCKIN RATT IN NASHVILLE! THEY KICKED BUTT AND THE SOUND WAS GOOD. STEPHEN PEARCY THE SINGER STILL HAD THE VOICE OF BACK IN THE DAY. ONLY ACOUPLE THINGS I WOULD HAVE CHANGED. RATT DIDN'T DO AN ENCORE AND PEOPLE WERE HOPING FOR ONE. EVERYONE CLAPPED BUT NO ENCORE. REALLY THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANOTHER POPULAR BAND FROM THAT ERA THERE TOO. A DOUBLE BILL WITH ANOTHER ROCKIN 80'S BAND WOULD HAVE MADE IT A GREAT NITE. THE LOCAL BAND MOTORFLYS THAT PLAYED FIRST WERE OKAY. BUT NOT AS GOOD AS THE NAKED BEGGERS THAT I HAD SEEN BACKING UP ACE FREHLEY LAST YEAR. I ORDERED A CESAR SALAD BEFORE THE SHOW FOR MY DINNER. IT WAS ONLY OKAY. IT WASN'T BAD, BUT I HAVE HAD BETTER FOR THAT PRICE. FOR INSTANCE AT THE CROWS NEST IN GREEN HILLS. THE CESAR SALAD THAT NITE AT THE WILDHORSE JUST WAS SO BLAND. WENDYS LITTLE CESAR SALAD FOR $1.00 HAS MORE FLAVOR THAN THE ONE I HAD AT THE WILDHORSE THAT NITE. OTHER THAN THESE FEW THINGS...I HAD A GREAT TIME!

Ratt lead singer was not friendly!

    by SLC42 on 7/13/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Paid extra $$ for reserved seats and a meet and greet. The stage was rushed once the band came on and out seats were pretty much useless. Also, the lead singer was very rude and unfriendly and would not let anyone take pictures during the meet and greet. I ended up giving my wrist band to a guy who was hauling around Ratt albums so he could try to get an autograph. I will never pay for the meet and greet again. What a waste!

    1984 ALL OVER AGAIN!!

by vegasjohn on 7/13/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Excellent show!! I've seen Ratt perform many times in Chicago over the past few years, but this is the first time seeing them with Steven Pearcy back at lead vocals since I saw them in 1984. They didn't miss a beat. Steven, Warren, and Bobby sounded as good as they did back then. Corabi stepped back in for the show, because Juan had something going on the night, but was more than capable of rockin' out.

    Ratt Was Great!......But.....

    by ratt84 on 7/13/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

I thought the show at the wildhorse was great. A small intimate venue is the way to go if you want to see your favorite bands. The only thing that bothered me was the meet and greet. I was fortunate to get to meet Pearcy and DeMartini. But there were many who did not who paid for that luxury and the band hurried out the back. This is my first meet and greet and after seeing what happened, I'm reluctant to do it again. I want to be assured I get my moneys worth. Otherwise the concert was great. But beware about the meet and greet. It's not a gimme.

    A little slow to start

by Kissmite on 7/13/09Wildhorse Saloon - Nashville

Well, meet and greet was before the show which was different than most i have been to. Stephen seemed a little pissy about it while the rest of the ban was great. we got no picture because of the time being before the show. i was actaully ok with it. it was better than staying really late. as far as the show...Stephen did not really seem into it until your in Love when the crowd got a little louder. it was about over at that point. i have some many great memories of this band live,,i will have to see them again to make sure this is not my last memory of tem...i love their unmistakeable guitar sound..still love them..this was an off night for me...
