BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Spain in 1943, Raphael began singing at just three years old, winning a Europe-wide singing competition at age nine. Early on in his career, he gained notoriety for acting out the lyrics to his songs on stage, making highly dramatic gestures, wearing colorful folk costumes, and incorporating the physical language of flamenco and bullfighting in his performances. After representing Spain in the 1966 and 1967 Eurovision Song Contests, he became an international star, embarking on global tours and gaining a huge Latin American following with his rendition of folk standards like "Llorona" and "Sandunga." Over the course of his decade-spanning career, Raphael has become recognized as one of the most influential Latin artists of the 20th century, earning him a revered place in the hearts and minds of audiences around the world.

I enjoy his singing one song after another without stopping
We were very excited to go end enjoy the show. Raphael’s voice was destroyed. The No chorus to support, the musicians were playing like magicians to support the musical notes impossible to reach by the singer. He is a gorgeous person and a legend, we grew listening his songs, but the time is over now.
I Have been following all his exits since “Yo soy aquel” his signature song of all time. I had watched on you tube his 50 years career, Madrid Spain and was mesmerizing so his 6.0 tour I could not missed it. To my sadness Raphael seems gasping for his voice,. The orchestra save him more than once special for his ending of his songs . But he have fans that loved him no matter what since his early beginning. He built a beautiful trajectory ❣️❣️❣️
Raphael has been a show man and the band is amazing too. It was a great concert and he sang the entire concert. Great vibes
The concert was excellent and my parents enjoyed from the beginning to end.
RAPHAEL IS THE BEST SINGER IS A PROFESSIONAL HE HAS VERY GOOD VOICE
Nice to see Raphael and listened to the his songs, brings back memories.
My situation doesn’t have anything to do with Rafael. When I paid my ticket was presented at Beacon Theater and the price was by $150 more than the price charged at MSG, for the same seat, I haven’t get any reimburse for the difference yet,
This was my second time attending a Raphael concert and he still has that magical presence through the way he passionately sings, sets the mood for each song, and his constant delivery. I was so thrilled to see him here in NYC along with the company of my father, who loves his music. It’s good to see what real music is in-person these days.
I’ve see him 4~5 times. Each time is better than before. Hope to see him again and again…
I loved the show. My wife and I now have seen Raphael 3 times. His voice and emotions touch everyone in a joyful manner. I hope he does more!
Everything on time. Magic night with a greater singer in Spanish.
Raphael is unique, the greatest! I always follow him every time he comes to town; however this time November 2nd I could not enjoy the show because I hardly saw Raphael because the strong reflectors of the illumination exhibit around the stage right in front of our faces. We complained at no vail and were told they could not do anything because it was controlled by Raphael’s team. Everybody was complaining about it and I left the show very upset before the ending. I paid a lot of money for this show and I left very, very disappointed because it was NOT worth it.
It was a wonderful night. It was a pleasure to enjoy the Raphael show.
The theater, seats, scenery, and most able Rafael was great! A night to remember!! Great time!❤️
RAPHAEL has been on stage for 60 years and Ive been attending his concerts for 52 of them with everyone of them still being the BEST. RAPHAEL is #1.
Even at 79 years old, he has demonstrated to be the best Spaniard singer ever…… I love all of his songs, my favorite, Como Yo te Amo… May God Bless Him Always 🥰
