RAMON AYALA IN CONCERT:
As Mexico's "King of the Accordion," norteño and conjunto superstar Ramon Ayala has recorded an astonishing 105 albums, shattering sales records and becoming a legend of the beloved regional genres. With over 60 years in the business, Ayala has had plenty of time to hone his immense talent, and he continues to dazzle fans with his virtuosic accordion playing at his energetic performances. A consummate showman and recipient of a Grammy for his renowned live shows, Ayala will certainly have toes tapping and booties shaking at his Noche Romantica tour dates in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born to a musical family in Monterrey, Mexico, Ramon Ayala took up the accordion at age six under the encouragement of his parents. In his teens, Ayala and guitarist Cornelio Reyna virtually invented modern conjunto with their group Los Relampagos del Norte, which featured Ayala on accordion and Reyna on bajo sexto — an instrument combination that has become the genre standard. In the '60s, Los Relampagos reinvented and enlivened norteño music, releasing 20 albums and leaving behind a string of classics including "Ya No Llores," their first hit single. After the duo parted ways in 1971, Ayala and his backing band assumed the name Ramon Ayala y Sus Bravos del Norte, establishing themselves as norteño superstars with hits like "Un Rinconcito En El Cielo" and "Chaparra de Mi Amor."
I enjoyed the Ramon Ayala except for the constant interruptions from his announcer! Between songs, and asking the audience to help sing along! That was so annoying!!

Ramon Ayala put on a FANTASITIC show, everything from music to lighting, and screens were AMAZING!!!!
They were the best 2 hours of my summer break. He is amazing to watch and listen to. His animador was very fun and entertaining. His grandson coming out to perform was an added plus. Please bring him back again soon!

It was terrible. The venue was great .the show was a circus.i thought he just come out and sing. He started over an hour and half late.and rhe clown 🤡 that just kept talking. Ugh
I've spent so many ridiculous years studying in college and attending work at the same time. I hardly had a chance to attend activities, such as live songs, travel, ect. After I accomplished getting my degree, I've earned myself an award. Since childhood I've been listening to Ramnon Ayala, and seeing them in person was wonderful! I've had my unforgettable moment to share not just me, but my mother as well. The tickets said 8, but the concert didn’t start until 9:50. The concert was good but it was not long enough. One group was not enough, they should have have another group playing.
The concert was scheduled to start at 8pm but it started until 9:45PM and the concert lasted only one hour and 30 minutes. He usually performs for two hours.
It was definitely one of the best concerts I've been to!

Ramon Ayala! If you know the name that explains itself. As for the rest of the experience it was perfect. We went straight to a parking place at the Orange County Amphitheater. Straight through the entrance non stop and right to our front row seats. I know this rarely happens but it happen. A perfect night!

Yeah. This concert was so much fun! The whole family was dancing in place. El Rey delivered for sure. He got big though. He should get a trainer to get more fit.
