About

In 2013, Rammstein played at several festivals after the release of their greatest hits album, bringing outlandish showmanship with them to each show. People who have seen this band in concert surely understand their legendary status. When these guys go on tour, it's a real treat for all who are lucky enough to have a ticket. Rammstein puts on huge shows, featuring pyrotechnics, light shows, larger than life backdrops and artwork, hydraulics and costumes to match. All of this doesn't even come close to matching the band members' stage presence and playing perfection, though. These guys could possibly be the hardest working musicians in the industry. They don't release a song until it is absolutely perfect, which is why it took them two years to record their album, "Liebe ist für alle da."

Rammstein is a band from Germany that formed in 1994. The devotion and dedication of the band members shows in the cleanly played music and perfectionist style of recording and in the fact that all the original band members still remain together to this day. This band is technically classified in the New German Hardness genre, but is more accurately described as a mixture of heavy metal, industrial and groove metal. Their song "Du Hast," which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Top 200 charts, may be the one that brought Rammstein to the general public's attention; it was even featured in the game "Rock Band 3." However, many fans of hard metal considered these guys to be rock legends way before the game came out; after all, it doesn't get any better than hard core metal sung in German.

    Rammstein und CombiChrist

by Sfritz276 on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

The show was incredible, no other way to put it. There is a reason tickets practically sold out in 7 seconds. I had never heard of the opening band, Combichrist, before but they put on a decent show, the people in the crowd who knew some of there songs seemed to think they did great. As for Rammstein themselves, flawless. The music was great, the pyrotechnics were unforgettable, and the performance was outstanding. Danke Rammstein, come back to the USA soon.

Rammstein puts everyone else to shame!

by Shavostorm on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

I've seen 60+ Rock shows, and Rammstein was hands down the best I've ever seen. They sounded great and the show was fun and put together perfectly. I can't stop talking about it. I waited 12 years to see them and it was well worth the weight. If you want a once in a lifetime unforgettable show, SEE RAMMSTEIN!!!

    Worth the wait!

by metalgeek19 on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

Rammstein finally got the American love it's always deserved. They came and kicked some major ass. I knew they wouldn't disappoint, but wow. I'm still taken aback by how fucking fun their live shows are. I have every DVD, but there's nothing like the real thing. I was blown away about how short the concert felt... I've been to many metal shows, but this one def is in my top three all time. I just hope the next time isn't another 10 years!

Rammstein, as always, tops lists of best concerts

by Becksstein on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

Amazing. Til's voice, the instrumentals, the fire, the fireworks, the angel wings, the color plays of the lights, Flake going around in a blow up canoe, it was the ultimate best. Almost cried when it was over.

    Rammstein Is Totally Effing Awesome!

by Herzeleid on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

Still in complete awe of the performance, so I can't even give an in depth rundown of all of it. Fire, explosions, crowd interaction, lasers & over the top lighting, AND a phenomenal live musical performance....worth every penny.

    Rammstein takes over New York

by 3Ryche on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

As someone who has been to over 250 concerts in his life I have never been taken back as I was with Rammstein. This is one of the few concerts I have been to where I notice ALL the fans standing throughout the entire show. The music, stage show and presence of the band was outstanding. I recently witnessed Roger Waters perform the Wall live and that concert has received the review "a must see concert before you die"! You need to add Rammstein to your "must see" list as it is WELL worth it!!! The only drawback to the Rammstein NY show is knowing that they have no plans, at this time, to do a US Tour!!!

Event GREAT - how can they run ouf of tees?

by EdMetal on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York

Rammstein live was absolutely great. They're up there with Disturbed as putting on the greatest metal shows ever. But how can merchandising run out of tour tee shirts? Is that the Garden's responsibility? Show management? Doesn't matter, somebody screwed up big time.

    Greatest Show On Earth

by MrConcertTicketMaster on 12/13/10Madison Square Garden - New York City

Glad they came back to the US! I hope they decide to make the trip more often. It was great to see them at the Hammerstein, but MSG was really a better venue for them. Maybe Giant's Stadium next time around? I can't say enough about the show on Saturday night (11-DEC-2010). The crowd energy was fantastic! Thanks to others for posting the set list. I've seen hundreds of shows over the last few decades from every musical category and nothing tops the high quality performance that Rammstein provides. Combichrist is also a great starter for them. To the band and management - please plan more shows in the US! You have many more fans than you realize here in North America. Thank you for the show! Ein herzliches Dankeschön!

    Rammstein at The Garden, NYC

by SJC10 on 12/12/10Madison Square Garden - New York,

Great show. Last time I saw Rammstein live was August 2006 during the "Reise, Reise" tour in Berlin, Germany at the Wuhleide. Playing for their home town crowd in Germany blows the doors off of the show in Madison Square Garden (MSG), New York, during the "Liebe Ist Fur Alle Da" tour on December 11, 2010. However, even though the production value seen at MSG was lower than in Berlin, the impact was still strong, inspired, and simply awesome. Consummate professionals at the heighth of their fame. True gentlemen of the hard rock stage. Perhaps we'll see them again on U.S. soil soon. The crowd chanted during numerous sing-a-longs, but Till showed a wave of the hand, "forget-it" moment to the crowd a couple times when they missed the sing-a-long introduction lyrics of "Pussy", and when they botched the jump-in lyrical chant of "Keine Lust". For non-speaking Germans in the crowd, a lyrical translation may bring meaning during the live-show theatrics of songs like "Wiener Blut", "Du Riechst So Gut", and "Ich Tu Dir Wir". The pyro's were plenty, the lighting was inspired...early songs, new songs rivet the setlist. This fan would like to see more songs from the Rosenrot cd, which Rammstein did not tour in support of...however, there are multi-lingual power ballads smattered on the Rosenrot cd that spanish and english speakers know... This show made my top-five all time concert list...however, the show seemed short at 2-hours. Ohne Dich, Stirb Nicht Vor Mir, Dalai Lama, Sehnsucht, Nebel, Spring, Rosenrot, among other we're noticeably missing. A 3-hour show, as played in Berlin, could have claimed the top-spot away from that show in 2006 where Rammstein played to their hometown crowd. If they schedule more shows in the U.S. --- don't miss it.

    Finally!

by lyjech on 12/2/10Madison Square Garden - Manhattan, New York City

I've listened and loved them for 10yrs! Now I can finally see them! At Madison Square Garden, granted it's over 2,000 mi, coming from Dallas, TX. And I've sold most of my extra electronics so I could afford the plane ticket. I would do anything for them! This will be my favourite (until I probably see them again) concert, and the best one I will have gone to! Countdown now, 9 1/2 days! ......Until I fly halfway across the country to see my favourite band! :) I love you Rammstein!!!

outstanding performances. Exceptionally clear for the most part. Occasionally the vocals were drowned out by the sound of pyrotechnics and fireworks, but overall everything could be heard. Vocalist Till Lindemann sounds stronger than ever, Richard Z. Kruspe and Paul Landers could be heard note perfect and even Flake’s keyboards could be heard clearly as well over Christoph Schneider's drums. There was no merging of sounds and each song sounded like the record version. Only much better.
