  • Roll Up for the Magical Mystery Tour

by Phantom on 4/19/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

We just saw one of the best live performances we have seen in quite a while! RAIN brought us back to the 60's like nothing else could. The song selections were outstanding...even though they shortened some of the cuts a bit, we assumed it was an effort to fit more in. The usually staid Boston crowd was out in the aisles or on their seats dancing, bobbing, singing with arms raised, and rhythmically swaying to the songs of not so long ago. The use of archival audio and video clips enriched the overall experience. That said, it was the musicians who brought us back to those times. All four were great. The repartee between John and Paul was right on. George was his laid back self. But it was Ringo who WAS Ringo! Just a fantastic performance by a guy who appeared to be too young to have seen the Beatles in their day. WHAT A FANTASTIC SHOW!

I bought these tickets for my husbands birthday present as the Beatles are his favorite band to this day. Let mw tell you they did not disappoint! My husband enjoyed every single song they played, he said "Wow, they sound just like them!"From the singing to the diverse backgrounds of the stage they did a great job. I highly recommend seeing them if you never have and your a Beatles fan!

  • An amazing experience!!

by Armen Z. on 4/17/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

For a lifelong Beatles fan like me, hearing the music played to perfection, with visual sensory of the performance, was absolutely incredible! Especially, the music from Pepper through Abbey Road, which of course was never performed live by The Beatles themselves, who stopped touring in 1966. The musicians in the band "Rain"uniquely adapted that later period to a style of performance, as if The Beatles might have done themselves live, had they continued touring. It was a very cool interpretation! Thank you, Rain. You took me to another place and time in my life! 💙

I thought the show was fabulous. I felt like the true Beatles were performing. The songs were excellent as well and the background scenery was superb. I would see it again.

  • Magnificent!!!

It was like going back in time !! This show is a must see for anyone who enjoyed listening to the Beatles as a teenager . The performers must have studied The videos of the Beatles concerts as they had the same mannerism’s as the fab four. This was a live performance no voice overs or lip syncing. The atmosphere was electric.

  • ITS THE BEATLES!! I'M BACK IN TIME!

by Bea T on 4/16/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I can die now. It was that good! I was so excited to see Rain since it got rave reviews. I've been a fan of the Beatles since the 80s long after their break up in the 70s. I was fascinated about the past and fame. I just remembered them as a cartoon but then got curious about the band and even did a highschool report on them. I listened to my parents album over and over again and fell in love with the love longs and the rest of the albums. I would see them on documentaries and reruns on the television set. With all that said, I had to see what if would it be like if I could go back in time to experience them.... my wish came true! It was surreal. Their music and persona was SPOT ON! Worth every penny!

  • Great band but.....

by Music Man Mike on 4/16/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

Great band but the bass, both the bass guitar and the bass drum, was overpowering. Consider turning it down next time... just a little would help. Wonderful to be able to "see"the Beatles. Brought my daughter who, like me, really enjoys Beatle music, but was not around in the 60s. Must admit, I like the early Beatles just a bit better. Would have liked to hear: I saw her standing there, and You can't do that!

  • Not as good as last time

by GG on 4/16/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

I had seen RAIN twice previously. Both of those concerts were better than this one. This one was way too loud especially the second set. Also the fifth guy they had doing the special effects was not there the other two times. He was more of a distraction to the music with his excessively loud distorted sound. Was much better before he came on stage.

This Beatles cover group - RAIN - was fantastic.......and that is the opinion of a British person who knew the real Beatles in their heyday. The members of RAIN not only matched the Beatles sound, they even managed to look quite like the original Fab Four!! Three cheers for RAIN!!

  • Best Beatles Tribute Show Ever!

by Mark on 4/16/24Boch Center Wang Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles is the best Beatles tribute band...ever...and I've seen dozens of them. They hit every note spot-on, their instruments are authentic and their costume changes really correlate beautifully with the music. The background screens and old film footage are amazing and these guys clearly love what they do. They get the audience involved and, in The immortal words of For the Benefit of Mr. Kite, a splendid time is guaranteed for all. This is a first-rate show, done by first class musicians. They are worth every penny of the admission price. As long as Rain keeps touring, I'll keep attending. Thanks, lads!

  • Great Show but Harrison songs were missing from set list

by Pete on 4/15/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Great show ! But what happened to the White Album songs ? None were played ! Is this a copyright issue ? And no Harrison songs were played .Among them No... While My Guitar Gently Weeps , No ...Something , No.... Here Comes the Sun ! I wonder why ?
