Rage Against the Machine, also known as RATM or ā€œRageā€ for short, is a rock band from Los Angeles, CA that formed in 1991 and are known for their revolutionary political views brilliantly portrayed through their music. As of 2010, they had sold over 16 million records worldwide. Their eponymous debut album was released in 1992 that lead to a slot at Lollapalooza in 1993. They released two more albums, ā€œEvil Empireā€ in 1996 and ā€œThe Battle of Los Angelesā€ in 1999. They became one of the most popular and influential bands in music history, particularly within the nu metal genre during the latter half of the 1990s.

RTJ & RATM LIVE AT MSG

by Roberto on 8/19/22Madison Square Garden - New York

You can't beat a lineup like this. You've got an iconic hip hop duo with the greatest group to grace a stage. These two groups set the standard of excellence in music, performances, lyricism, hip hop, rock & roll, & then some. Not to mention, live from the world's most famous arena. Beggin' your pardon, Runt The Jewels & Rage LIVE from the GARDEN!

First time seeing RATM in person. Amazing show. Wasn't a need to sell seats as the only person sitting down throughout the show was Zack (Good luck with your surgery!). Great selection of songs.

    Rage against the machine

by Paul on 8/18/22Madison Square Garden - New York

The band was all business. Unfortunately Zack had an injury in his knee but it didnā€™t effect his vocals for being apart from touring for 13 years they sounded fantastic. I had second row seats thanks to Ticketmaster and it was one of the best shows Iā€™ve ever seen I highly recommend seeing them.

    TicKeT RaG3!!

by MadDog on 8/18/22Madison Square Garden - New York

Hours online that day to score tickets to this show, with carrots dangling in sections 107, 108 we finally got a pair of tickets last minute in Section 214 row 2, side view. New to us Run the Jewel opened, super impressed! They came out and we were pumped seats were great. Never saw Rage back in the day, I was so excited to see them perform unaware of of Zack's injury with his Achilles heel he sat center atop trunks. Regardless (that he was not bouncing about the stage) the energy from Zack and the power of their music and songs is mind-blowing. Wow. Unfortunately for us someone in our section was smoking something, maybe synthetic, maybe laced, several people became ill and started to leave. I myself became ill and had to leave the concert. My boyfriend smokes weed and he even felt it and thought it smelled odd. Due to our location and we were so close to the top itā€™s possible air was not circulating well there. We thought we found a great new spot when tickets are sold out. Think again. Iā€™m an avid concert goer and NEVER leave early. I guess this means we have another date with Rage Against the Machine. I hope to see you back someday in NYC. You guys are awesome and your messages in your music ring louder and louder and are most prevalent.

This was one of the best performances I've ever seen! So much energy, so much emotion. I had goosebumps during multiple songs. They played almost non-stop for a 20 song set that was absolutely incredible. Once in a lifetime show!

by Achilles oh on 8/17/22Madison Square Garden - New York

Absolutely worth the 13 hour drive from Owen Sound Ontario to NY to see for the second time in 2 weeks Rage Against The Machine live ! If I was left pinching myself after their concert in Toronto the Sunday August 14th gig at Madison Square Garden was a even more incredible concert experience arguably the greatest I have seen in my life . Until next time because there will be a next time ! šŸ˜Šā¤šŸ’ŖšŸ™šŸ’ŖšŸ’ŖšŸ’Ŗ

RATM was amazing and worth the trip from Nova Scotia

by Noneoyabiznez on 8/17/22Madison Square Garden - New York

My husband and I bought tickets in April of 2021 on the hope that everything would fall into place and we could see Rage Against The Machine in New York in August 2022. The band is his favourite since high school and would be a dream come true for him. He might have cried a bitā€¦. Not sure he would want me saying that hereā€¦but itā€™s done now and you all know. I tried for a press pass but didnā€™t get one so these pictures are from the audience. We are currently in Connecticut at a friend's house and even though we are still slightly hard of hearing we both agree it might have been the best show we have ever seen. Run The Jewels opened for Rage. They have been a new favourite of his, and they were amazing. They came out right at 8:00, on the dot and performed most of their newest album including ā€œooh la laā€ - which killed it! Rage performed their fifth sold out show at the garden which also happened to be their last show of the tour. Zack has had an injury and tore his Achilles and needs to return home for rest and rehabilitation. You could feel the emotion in the air from the band and the audience. They played hard and left it all on the stage. Zack gave everything and you could feel how hard it was for him to stay put on his box. He gave so much more in that performance, sitting, then I have seen from countless other frontmen. We didnā€™t feel like we missed out on anything. He was a ball of energy and sang his heart out. Tom is still as impressive and innovative on guitar as ever and the rhythm that Brad and Tim bring is often overshadowed but of course they were incredible and it was an absolute honour of a lifetime to see them. They played many hits including, testify, bombtrack, guerilla radio, sleep now in the fire, bulls on parade and the ghost of Tom Joadā€. Run the Jewels joined them on stage for their song ā€œclose your eyesā€. They ended the show with ā€œkilling in the nameā€ and I would say the crowd exploded but they already had from the first song and it didnā€™t let up the whole night. Before the band left the stage they took a group photo, hugged each other and felt all their feels (which we all got to feel with them). An incredible, amazing run of shows that must have felt like the world stood still and lit up like electricity at the same time. Having a group of artists that have that much chemistry and history to be together again and then have it cut short would be heartbreaking and also electrifying to sell out Madison Square Garden five times in a row and fans still wanting more. Thank you Rage for giving us a night to never forget and thank you to Zack for showing up and giving 1000% even when you must have been in pain.

Music was great but MSG disappointing

by Scooby on 8/17/22Madison Square Garden - New York

The concert was great but I was extremely disappointed with the venue . Our seats were 211 6 & 7 and there was no screen in front of us and couldn't really see the RATM performing on stage . Lead singer was seated but we woukdve like to see the Band while they performed. People next to us were smoking pot ( not vaping) the whole concert. These were not cheap seats - the experience as a spectator was terrible.
