I saw the traveling show in both Omaha, NE and Houston, TX this year 2014. The show was great and without fail the Rockettes make the show! Can't wait until next year to see where they will travel!
Our family of five attended the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular and it was truly SPECTACULAR!!! We all enjoyed the dancing, costumes and music! We particularly loved the songs about Christ and the Nativity number. I am so happy that this organization was not concerned with being political correct but wanted it's audience to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and that's the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!!!
I preferred the original versions with more traditional music and costumes. The Santa jackets and green velvet fur hooded ensembles have been dropped and replaced with Let Christmas Shine.. Unfortunately, the song is incorporated over and over throughout the show and thus forcing more traditional music to be abandoned.. Not sure what the impetus for the change has been and despite being a huge fan of the show for 50 years , I definitely would hesitate before buying tickets again.. I took 10 family members this year ( 4 seats in Row A- left orchestra , 4 seats in Row B- left orchestra and 2 tickets in the pit - row AAA) and spent almost $ 2,000.00 - only to be subjected repeatedly to a song I had never heard before.. I could understand having one or two numbers with new songs but the repetition of Let Christmas Shine just became annoying..
Spectacular show. Appropriate for all ages. Mesmerizing. The Nativity Scene is absolutely incredible. The dancers are professional and very precise.

Saw the Christmas Spectacular 10 years ago. This show far exceeded my expectations!! Enjoyed the show and the beautiful Rocketts. The set designs and production was spectacular in deed.
Great show- great entertainment-- fun for the whole family and just the right amount of time. Venue is beautiful though we had terrible expensive/obstructed view seating.
The women were outstanding! The synchronization of the toy soldier routine was unforgettable. Hats off to the choreographer!
It was a beautiful, interesting and exciting show. Our teenage grandchildren enjoyed it.
Excellent show for ALL ages! The Rockettes were in synch all the time and the dialog was funny.
This was the second time I have been. It was everything you would hope for from the Rockettes. I guess because I wish I was involved in the theatre, I always cry through most of the show because it seems so magical and the people in the show are so fortunate to be doing what their doing. ugh, who cries through a happy fun show? I need to get a grip.
This was my first time going to see the Rockettes and my experience was great! The show was fantastic and everyone was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely go again next year if they came back!
This show is amazing. I absolutely love the Rockettes and this show highlighted all the memorable moments they have had over the years i.e. the wooden toy solider!! I really love that the show includes Santa Claus, but highlights the reason for the season with the Three Wise Men and the manger scenes. My only complaint is the Hobby Center stage is too small to show off just how big this show is and unfortunately, our seats were off to the left and it caused an obstructed view. Overall, it doesn't effect the complete fantastic display the ladies put on and I recommend it from beginning to end.

I WOULD SIT AND WATCH IT AGAIN AND AGAIN. NOW I WANT TO GO TO NEW YORK.
I love the Rockettes and the show was amazing. My complaint is, I live in Dallas and we traveled to Houston just to see the Rockettes since they were not in Dallas this year. We went to their show in Dallas in 2012 and loved it. So the complaint is, they did the exact show in Houston this year they performed 2 years before in Dallas. With the money I spent on the good seats for the show and the expense of driving to Houston it would of been nice for the show to be different than the one we had already seen. But, again...the show is amazing after all it's The Rockettes, I just wish it would of been an updated show.
Well worth the time to take the family to a great Christmas Event.
The opening scene was amazing. I love the way Santa introduced his trip to Houston. Santa made the show so fun. My family and I just got back from New York City a day before (Dec 22). It was our first time in NY. The scene with a bus taking the cast around Manhattan reminded us of all the places we just visited. In a nutshell, the show is so enjoyable.
We enjoyed the show very much! The music, costuming, and dancing were wonderful. We appreciated the inclusion of the Biblical Christmas story in the last act....very well done.
The whole show was mesmerizing. We were seated pretty close, in the orchestra section. I loved every single second of it!
