    Rachelle truly uses her gift!

    by Tee50 on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

I love Rachelle. She never does a song the same way twice. I love how she lets the music and the creativity of her art take her to whereever it takes her. She is absolutely amazing! Love her, love her, love her.

Amazing, In Awe Of Her Performance

by Tesh on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

She was amazing. Her voice was amazing. She mentioned that she was getting over a cold, but I couldn't tell. She sound really great. I've seen her many times and everytime I'm more than pleased. I took my friend who wasn't familiar with her. He loved it. He couldn't understand why she wasn't performing in a arena. He told me that he never heard a voice so beautiful. He loved her personality and performance. I'm looking forward to the next Rachelle Ferrell Concert. I missed seeing her brother who often comes with her.

    Rachelle was amazing......

    by LizzieLiz38 on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

Birchmere is such a great venue for any live performance, but coupled with a professional and an extraordinary performer such as Rachelle Ferrell, you have an unforgettable evening. Rachelle Ferrell is one of a kind and if you have never seen her live, you are missing out on a wonderful experience. Words cannot capture her performance...unbelievable is an understatment. I took my boyfriend as a treat. It was his first time seeing Rachelle live. He was in awe. She was definitely worth the cost.

Her voice is an instrument, and she plays it WELL!

by VCBass on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

Not a dull moment the whole show. I've been a fan since 1993. She is a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul and a GREAT talent. The love for her was in the room and we felt it back from her. She did songs by request... interacted with the audience... and played the HELL out of that piano. And to think that she had a cold!!! Vocal talent is amazing... when she did "Nothing has ever felt..." she sang her part AND Will Downing's!! It was just great entertainment. Best money I've spent in a long time. Hope she comes through the DC area again. I will DEFINITELY be in the house. Back up band had a DEEP groove... loved the solo pieces... bass player was groovy, drummer was TIGHT, and the guitar player was soulful. Keyboard player obviously has gospel / Hammond B3 chops. GO SEE THIS SHOW!!!

The Best Vocalist on the Planet!

by RHfromDC on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

I don't want to spend too much time attempting to describe something that English words cannot adequately capture. Rachelle Ferrell is the only artist I've ever heard that literally brought me to tears, not just with her lyrical content, but with her unbelievable talent. I was grateful to be on earth that day just to have had the opportunity to hear and see her live. If you are composing a "bucket list" of things you need to do before you die, make sure you add "See Rachelle Ferrell Live in Concert" to your list. I promise you will have never heard anyone as amazing and awe inspiring before her, and you may never hear anyone nearly as talented again. Please understand when I say this, I'm not just over-exaggerating: Rachelle Ferrell is the Best Vocalist (Male or Female) on the Planet! Do yourself a favor and pay whatever it takes to see her. You will be glad you did.

    An Angel Named Rachelle

    by Univgirl50 on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

This was my first time seeing Rachelle Farrell perform live and I must say that I got my money's worth and some. There is talent and then there's God-given talent. Rachelle possesses the latter. I can truly say that her vocals are beyond comparison and her musical style timeless! Not many artists make singing look as effortless as Rachelle.

Too much talking, not enough singing

by RachelleFan on 3/1/10Birchmere - Alexandria

As a huge fan of Rachelle Ferrell I was quite excited to see her at the Birchmere. I was disappointed however that during the first hour of the show she talked at length with the audience, sang a song or 2, took about 20 minutes to introduce her band, sang another couple of songs, and introduced the band again. Granted she did explain that she had just gotten over a cold and that her voice wasn't 100% but she still sounded amazing. The second hour did improve in that she sang a number of songs but by that time I was sort of over it. The audience kept calling out song titles which made Rachelle ask at one point, "What is this? Request hour?" No, the audience just wanted to hear more singing and less chit chat. When you pay to hear a singer of her caliber you really want to hear as much singing as you can get.

    ELECTRIFYING...

    by rjpow1 on 2/14/10Ritz Theatre - Jacksonville

Despite her just getting over her laryngitis, she still gave an electrifying performance. Her ability to sing with such great dynamics, and soulfulness kept the audience on the edge of their seats. She song her famous song, Nothing Has Ever Felt Like This (duet on her album with Will Downing), as a solo, and she was awesome. Her effortless movement of her voice throughout the registers made her appear to be invincible. I want more…I can’t wait until her new album hit the streets!!!

    Rachelle Ferrell was the B O M B!!!!!

by DerrickD on 12/10/09Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

I have been waiting for a long time to see Rachelle live in concert. Her performances were stunning and delivered like on she could do.. I highly recommend her to those who enjoy really music and talented. I also enjoyed how she willingly strayed from her set to sing requests from the audience.

Rachelle Ferrell, Lee English Jr were AMAZING!!

by NYCimport on 12/8/09Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

We were at the show celebrating my friends 40th birthday. The christmas music they played until 8 pm when the show began was childish and inappropriate, they could have played grown up christmas songs instead of nursery rhymes!!! Avery Sunshine opened the show and was very entertaining love love love her. K-Jon on the other hand wasn't ready, he was boring and all his music sounded the same. The best part of his performance was Lee English Jr on the violin. Also K-Jon had too lengthy of a spot, his performance was less than average and way too long. Raheim was very good but again was given too lengthy a spot, because he got boring too. Rachelle Ferrell was in a class on her own, she had unbelievable energy, incredible vocals and a BAND that was on point every time!!!!!!

    Rachelle Ferrell is Amazing

by Quitt on 12/7/09Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

It's been a few years since I've been able to be graced with the most amazing sound (next to the initial cries of my children)..the sound of Rachelle Ferrell's velvety voice. She is the most humble artist there is. Her voiced is unmatched to any other..she is in a class by herself! Looking forward to another journey alongside her when she comes back to Atlanta..
