Ra Ra Riot sounds exactly as they do on their records, only better. Their collaboration is effortless and flawless. I couldn't help but want to sing and dance along with them!

Great high energy show! I loved the mix of songs that I knew plus songs from the new album. Also loved the opening band, Phantogram!

    True Art in Musical Form

by zrath on 4/3/10Sonar - Baltimore

With Sounds like Bright Eyes, Beatles, and Other indie alt bands out there, Ra Ra Riot has successfully blended classical music and popular music to bring forth a new genre, neo classical alternative rock. With not just one string player but two, a violinist and a cellist. It makes them stand out, and set apart from their equals in the indie scene. You can hear their beatles influence on the song Suspended in Gaffa, and their classical influence on Can you Tell. But they truly excel when they play Ghost on the Rocks, and Dying is fine, both of which blend perfectly their classical and popular sounds. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new band to listen to.
