Awesome Show. R Dub did it again as usual. Can't wait to see the show next year. I hope the show is better than this years
Could not hear them sing. You could tell the musicians were not into it because the sound was off. The music was way too loud.
This concert was awesome minus the horrible feedback. Other than that, I loved hearing my 90's music live. This is my first Slow Jams but definitely won't be my last!
Great line up of artists, however poor quality sound and microphones hurt their performances. Was not able to enjoy much of my favorite songs due to microphones not working. Concert is over priced for a smaller venue and less artists. John Legend was the one performance that stood out above the rest, he sounded grate!
Change of venue was an amazing choice! Made the entire night more fun and more intimate. No words to say how awesome the line-up was. All the acts were great and kept the crowd entertained but most of all JOHN LEGEND Was spectacular !!! Nothing better than just a man and his piano!
This was my first time attending slow jams live, always wanted to go but never was able to. i enjoyed it, only thing i noticed was the sound was bad for next while they were singing couldnt hear what they were singing, if it wasnt for the background music and the crowd singing i wouldn't have known the songs. Overall it was great and i enjoyed myself :)
This concert was just simply amazing. I loved every single part of the slow jams. I am already waiting for next year.
I LOVED THE SHOW THATS WHY I GO EVERY YEAR IM A SLOW JAMS FAN FOREVER
Performances were excellent; venue was perfect size and great location. I plan to return to this event every year
Sunday Nite Slow Jams was my first concert ever and it turned into an unforgettable night. Primarily I went because Miguel was in town, but ended up getting to see SO many of my favorite R&B artists. All the artists were absolutely amazing and it was just a great night of music! Honestly can't wait for Slow Jams next year!
Jaw dropping sound , great artist stage delivery we'll worth the money
My fiance and I were all excited to go especially to see KC and Jojo . All the artists. Were expect KC and Jojo they were horrible they drunk and taking off there clothes off. We couldn't believe it they messing up there songs it was so sad they had another artist come help them. We were so disappointed that was the only group we really wanted to see
I know now why I don't go to concerts anymore, im from the old school, where performers actually performed, and didn't just sing to tracks. I believe we in Tucson are worth more than just some Karaoke from performers. Hats off to Miguel for actually having a "band" and why would you let K-CI and JO JO, onstage like that, and embarass themselves. BBD gave a good performance to track sounds, and so did Genuine, as a show if I am going to shell out 300 dollars or more for a show, I want to see a "real" show not just some recorded tracks. Tucson needs to speak out and demand MORE..... btw I left early into KCI and JOJO set.
This was a low budget concert for a high dollar price. The sound was very low quality. The mics made the singers hard to understand. Very few speakers and they were facing the front audience, which made it hard to hear for everyone not sitting straight on. When we arrived, the stage had been set up differently than expected, so our seats were located behind the stage. A person from Tucson Arena came and changed our seats, which was nice. The talent for the show was good for the most part, except for the final act who were obviously high. We paid $150 for two ticket to this concert and it was not worth that much money. I would say maybe $25 per ticket would have been a good value for the experience.
I thoroughly enjoyed the musical talent R Dub put together for this show. Miguel was truly on another level. My only critique is that it was a bit long (6 hrs) and the venue was freezing.
You know what they say, if you finish good you'll never forget the event. Well, in this case I have to blame the crowd to a poor finale. KC and JoJo were the last performers. I remember them and grew up to Jodeci and naturally, I'd hope they sing some of the good ole' 90s songs. And they did. Unfortunately, after a very long concert, the crowd just didn't dig it. They were leaving. Genuine came on stage to get the support. He was right when he said it was disrespectful to leave. I mean, people just getting the hell out of there. It really made me mad. KC and JoJo felt it, they knew, and the performance didn't have the support. Sad! I blame it on two potential causes: Crowd too young to remember Jodeci and length of concert. Even I who can hold through for hours in concert was getting really tired. PS: Miguel is amazing. Very diverse, urban, and a true artist of our time.
the show was awesome! great performers and everything! definitely going back next year.
This will likely be my last Sunday Night Slow Jams concert. R Dub needs to reinvent himself and come into the 21st century. Year after year, acts that have already done the Sunday Night Slow Jams in the past come back over and over again...and the headliners end up being big disappointments year after year. Although I can't blame him for that sorry excuse for a finale act, K-ci and Jojo put on a horrible show. Very sad given that they were probably my favorite group growing up in the 90's. Also, c'mon man, give some love to the ladies, instead of bringing the same played out male artists, bring some female artists. Wow, what an idea, R Dub! Mary J Blidge, Brandy, SWV, En Vogue, TLC, Alicia Keys, Monica, just to name a few. It isn't that complicated. R Dub and 98.3 are lame. Although I wish these shows were better managed and organized, the show was still alright, only because I love R & B music, no thanks to R Dub and 98.3.
The concert was good until Miguel performed which was horrible and too long opn stage!Kc and Jojo seemed very melancholy and unimpressive, in fact we left after their 2nd song..The rest of the show was good
Sets were pretty short. Sound quality for a couple artists was really bad. So much so, if you didn't know the words to a song already you would have no clue what they were saying/ singing. And then there was K-Ci & JoJo....... Drunk (and who knows what else) on stage. They came out dressed in nice suits... second song in they were disheveled! K-Ci ended up in a "wife-beater" and looked like he was going to fall over any moment. More than half the crowd left 3 songs into their set. Genuwine tried to salvage the show but it was already a disaster. The sound guys ended up shutting their mics off so they could shut up and get off stage. ......crazy!
