This performance of "The Magic Flute" was delightful. The entire production was professional quality. The singers and musicians were all extremely talented. The opera was beautiful. I would gladly go to another performance by this group.
My wife and I weren't expecting much, as we had never been to an opera performed at a college. It was much more than we expected. It had a live orchestra, absolutely superb singing, a translation screen ( the songs are sung in the original German, though the spoken lines are all in English ), full costumes, and a breath-taking performance from the Queen of the Night. After hearing her sing, I asked my wife if I was allowed to fall in love with another woman.
