by Chicklet10 on 5/26/23Thunder Bay Community Auditorium - Thunder Bay

It was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time! All members so dedicated and such great musicians and singers! They really know a how to work the audience! Young and old alike! Sound just like the real group! Amazing performance! Would definately go again!

    Not Impressed

by Stubsie on 8/9/14Toyota Center Kennewick - Kennewick

Perhaps because of the lousy acoustics at the Kennewick Toyota Center, I left my second row seat and moved to the back. The sound was so overpowering, it was distorted and vague. During one song during the opening moments, although I knew the song and liked it, I had no idea the band was playing it until about half-way through. The Freddy Mercury guy looked and acted like him (though I was never a follower of Queen's performances) and he sang well but simply did not have anywhere near Freddy's incredible range. Probably because the sound was so distorted to me, I didn't like the show and considered leaving early but didn't. Most unfavorite moment: when Freddy took a drink of water from a glass then sprayed the rest over the crowd in the front rows, including me. The character died of AIDS - what was he thinking?

    Queen -

by bufus on 8/5/14Toyota Center Kennewick - Kennewick

Sound guys messed up!! I 'm sure the singing was wonderful but it couldn't be heard over the lead guitar. I was quite disappointed because of that. Also, the Freddie impersonator wimped out on the high notes. He had a wonderful voice, I think, (guitar too loud) but shouldn't have altered the melody. It was a shame that there weren't many people there.

These guys know what they are doing!

by Dangtm on 8/4/14Toyota Center Kennewick - Kennewick

Great show. Wonderful performance and completely well done. I’m a musician of 30 years and I tend to be quite picky. There was nothing to pick apart. If you’re any sort of Queen fan this show is a must. The only suggestion would be to promote the show a bit more. There were maybe 300-400 of us at the concert. Even though the poor turnout “The Show Went On!”

    It's a Kinda Disappointing

by wahsub on 8/3/14Toyota Center Kennewick - Kennewick

We had seats in the second row, to the side, right in front of one set of speakers. The sound was WAY too loud. Normally, this would have been okay, but it was very distorted like they were overdriving the amps. VERY unpleasant, almost painful. Fortunately, there were lots of open seats further back in the auditorium. We moved back after only a few minutes into the show. The volume was then tolerable, but the fidelity did not improve. It may have got better later in the show, however. One star at best for the sound crew. Probably 4 stars for the band's performance. It was great to hear a bunch of Queen's repertoire, much of it quite faithful to the original.

There may be only one Freddie Mercury/Queen but this group does an amazing job of recreating their legacy. Definitely worth watching!

We enjoyed the show, the lead singer did not sound exactly like Freddie Mercury but they still played all the good songs and sounded pretty good!

    queen

by 2009fatbob on 7/24/14William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

The singer had a lot of energy, and the drummer was awesome. The singers voice was not close to Freddie Mercury's and the music was louder than the vocals which his the voice.

    Queen was quite HO HUM

by Widby on 7/22/14William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

The lead singer just doesn't have the voice that Freddy Mercury had. Some of the moves, some of the pizzazz but it just didn’t sound that good. The music was too loud which did a very effective job in drowning out the vocals.

Good show, where was the audience?

by SueRoots on 7/22/14William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

This was an enjoyable show despite only 50% of the theatre filled. The first half there were some sound issues--it was hard to hear the vocals even though we were in the second row. The second half they seemed to resolve that and it was easier to hear the lead singer (Giles Taylor). Lots of energy and Giles did a good job portraying Freddie Mercury, down to the many costume changes. But what was the deal with the bass player coming out in his gym shorts at the end of the show for the encore?

Queen was a lot of fun

by futbolram on 7/22/14William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

Singer was a performer, interacting with the crowd and had the showmanship of Freddie. He didn't have the vocal range and Freddie, but still was a great singer and really made it a great night. The setlist was perfect and the rest of the band were all great musicians. I would go again in a heartbeat.

    I was Rocked!

by vbalt on 7/22/14William Saroyan Theatre Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center - Fresno

Let's face it, no one compares to Freddie Mercury and Queen. However this group of guys nailed it. I was mesmerized by how they sounded so much like Queen and did so well at capturing their presence.

Lead Guitarist should have been the lead singer

by InTheNo on 3/10/10Pantages Theatre - Winnipeg

Music was great, band was excellent, sound system somewhat distorted, didn't care much for the lead singer "Freddy." The "BOOB show" during "Break Free" was pretty stupid!

    Queen was great!

by Queen1 on 7/12/09Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I felt like I was at a Queen concert! I wish I would have brought my pre-teen kids to hear to what music REALLY sounds like - not the so called music they listen to now-a-days. The band really made an effort to involve the audience and we all appreciated it. It was clear they enjoyed entertaining and they certainly put on a great show - thanks!
