Good hockey and a fun time. Long lines getting into the game, could have opened the gates a little earlier since people were standing outside in very cold weather.
We have not been to a Mallards game in several years and it was so much fun to watch again. The crowd still gets into it. It was really fun just to be a part of it again. We stayed at the Radisson so had no parking issues just a short cold walk - it was great!
My husband and I took two of our kids to the hockey game for thier birthday. It was youth jersey night so they got free jerseys. They thought that was awesome. they even thought it was cool when they were dancing around and seen themselves on the big screen. That is definatley one event we will go to again.
This was our first Hockey game that we had ever attended and we absolutely loved it! There was so much energy and excitement from the fans....it was contagious! We had so much fun!! We are already planning for our next game! GO Mallards!
The game was great. We let the computer pick our seats and they were wonderful.
We took my son and a few friends to the Mallards game. They all had a great time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We went on a Family day so the price was really reasonable. We would have spent alot more taking out family to the movie theatre. We will definatley go again!
It was a close game in which the mallards came out on top....
the product is much improved from the goonism that took place the previous year at the iwireless center. As long time hockey fans I approve and would consider returning.
What a wonderful surprise!!! I have not been to a Mallards game since the original team left, but really enjoyed the game. The bonus was having Sergi attending also. Would be wonderful if we could get the old team back on the ice for some kind of benefit or just a one night play off for old times sake. I will be attending more games, since I got hooked on the game when the Mallards came to the QC.
The game was great. Very competetitive. Both teams played very well. Loved the black and pink jerseys for "pink in the rink". Would have liked to have gotten one for my daughter (10 yrs). Breast cancer runs in our family, so hit close to home.
I really liked how the atmosphere was more intimate due to the curtains uptop. Unfortunatly the team didn't win but I still had a good time. I did however miss some of the crowd involving hype from last season. There was no "Peanut Butter Jelly time" and not a lot of cutting to the crowd on the screen to show kids dancing. The video with the intern was fun. I do not like that there are no longer $5 tickets for the games. This may cause me to come to the games a little less. $10 isn't much more but I am on a tight budget. The $10 seats are worth the difference in price that they were but it makes going out a little more costly after food and drinks
We had a great time at the game! Awesome game! WOW!
I enjoyed the game and won chuck a puck!!! Levesque was hot and got two goals. All of this while sitting second row center ice behind the players bench for five buck. Best money I've spent in a long time.
i have never been to the i-wireless center, and bought tickets online. Their should have been some warning that these were partially obstructed view tickets. we were the only ones seated in our section in our row (row 6) and the row in front of us which were the first 2 rows of seats right behind the scorers table and penalty boxes.....with all the support posts for the glass that encloses all this area it was very hard to see the game clearly. Bought the most expensive tickets thinkin i would have a better view, but could have seen the game better from the cheap seats in the nosebleed section. Still had a good time, was a great game. Just wish ticketmaster would have put some warning about these tickets....
Great time had by all, my three boys first real hockey experience! Friendly crowd and nice people.
The Mallard flying V cannot be stopped! The Quad City Mallards are a MUST see!!
The game itself was a lot of fun however, we were frustrated as when I purchased the tickets from ticketmaster it said that the game started at 4:05 p.m. My husband, 6 year old son and myself showed up at 3:15 p.m. to make sure we got settled in before the game. We did not find out that the actual game started until 5:30 p.m. until after we were seated. Trying to keep my 6 year occupied from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. was a bit of a challenge. He also complained of the noise hurting his ears, so next time we will bring him ear plugs. We had to leave early, due to our drive home, so we had to miss the last period, but I was happy to see that the Mallards pulled it off and went away with the win!! We are Mallard fans and will come back, but it would have been nice to have been notified of the change in game time, BEFORE we arrived.
We had the best time watching the QC Mallards and were encouraged by the good turn out.
This was without a doubt a awesome time. The fans and the players are just so talented that they really get your blood flowing. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great time.
