The energy at LCA was crazy fun! The women hockey players were incredible and it was an intense game even if we did not care who won! Our daughter couldn’t believe it was all women on the ice! My eyes kept tearing up at this amazing experience and event.
I felt very proud to be apart of the a very special day in womens hockey! The amount of excitement in the LCA was phenomenal! Americans and Canadians making these women who played feel the Love that is Hockeytown is known for was absolutely fantastic!!!
PWHL is an amazing new sports league and we’re hopeful that they expand to Detroit. Check out a game, you will be pleasantly surprised by the fun, energetic atmosphere!

We were at the RW game prior and stayed for the ladies. The game had a lot of energy and the little girls brought their passion! We need a women’s team in Detroit!
It is a great, inclusive atmosphere, showcasing fantastic hockey and a safe space for women's sports fans! I was so excited to see Detroit was hosting a PWHL game, and it was the first time I'd ever cheered for either Boston or Ottawa in the Motor City. I was thrilled they were coming to Detroit, and I could avoid driving to Toronto to watch the league. I hope both teams felt the support, and I can't wait to attend another. However, if Detroit gets a team, I will be ecstatic to cheer for my border city favourites and consider becoming a season ticket holder.

The PWHL game at Little Caesars arena was so fun! Detroit definitely needs a professional women's team. We're called hockeytown for a reason, we broke the U.S. PWHL attendance record and it was an Ottawa vs. Boston game, 2 cities that are Detroit hockey rivals. Imagine the turnout that a Detroit Lady Wings game would bring. The girls played a great game and were very fun to watch.
It was a blast!! We def will go back if women’s hockey plays there again.
Attended the PWHL in Detroit - Ottawa vs Boston. What a great event! Such talented players and the place was packed and full of energy. I hope a PWHL team comes to Detroit! It will attract all the young female players from Michigan and Ontario - especially Windsor and Essex County.
This was my first sports event at the LCA and the energy was amazing. Detroit needs a PWHL team right away! Fantastic event.
We are a HUGE hockey family who frequents arenas including the Detroit Red Wings. To have an opportunity to watch these incredible female athletes was amazing!!! Our 2 daughters play competitive travel hockey and this was a huge moment for them to experience elite womens hockey comparable with the NHL! To gonto 3-on-3 OT and then shootout was icing on the cake! Fingers crossed Detroit will get a PHL team too!
What a great event! Crowd was fantastic. We're ready for our own PWHL team.
The game was amazing. Great hockey to watch. The show that was put on prior to the game and during the intermissions was amazing as well.
The PWHL game at Little Caesar’s arena was great. It was full of young women with hopeful aspirations for women’s professional hockey. Very energizing! The game was intense with all the action of any professional hockey game including the ladies checking each other and a few scuffles along the wall. It ended regulation with a tie and went to a shootout with Boston winning. I will definitely start following the PWHL and hope that we get a team in Detroit in the future.
I have been to hundreds of hockey games in my life. I have never had more fun than I did at this game. It was the best experience I have ever had at a sporting event. Watching these amazingly talented women was so special and something I will remember forever.
The You Belong With Me singalong was an obvious highlight, but the whole night felt safe, family friendly, ultra competitive, and happy! 10/10 would go again, the PWHL belongs in Detroit!
Detroit needs a PWHL team. The energy was great, the hockey was great and our seats were wonderful.
The PWHL is an absolutely underrated league. These women played every shift like a playoff game. Skating hard, hitting hard, and crashing the net hard. I was impressed not only by the gameplay but the overall energy inside the arena. I am already looking for my next opportunity to attend a game. Maybe Minnesota at the end of April?! Detroit needs a team, I would buy season tickets immediately. Congratulations to all the women who work so hard to make this league a success. 👌🏻
