12 of us went to the concert, we had front row tickets and the seats were awesome!! The Pussycat Dolls even came right up to us and smiled and were super friendly with the audience. We really enjoyed that concert. I thought their outfits were super sexy. I was really happy to see that Nicole sang live. She has a really good voice live.
Ay Caramba! Not only am I stoked to be in the 14th row for the pussycat Dolls amazing show in June of 2009, but I am hanging with the 20 year old boyfriend of Kim, the short cropped blond of Pussy Cat Dolls. He asked to remain anonymous (right?), but him and his friends are in the boy band called "V-Factor" that glide along with the Pussycat Dolls worldwide tour. Rough life, they played the 5oth State Fair in Hawaii....while the Dolls PACKED the Blaisdell in Honolulu for their last night on the world tour in Hawaii and homecoming for the Hawaii Girl Band Member.
My dAte was so impressed with the energy in the concert that she is a even bigger fan now!!! We really enjoyed Jai Hou from Slumdog....You have to see the PCD concert. BE THERE!!!
The vocals of Nicole is non-other. The venue itself was average and could've used more props. Ticket price could have been $10 cheaper. Overall, I'd still recommend this concert.
Pussycat Dolls is a great group and produces awesome music, however, their stage performance and the way they work the crowd was very forgettable. It was okay but it could need alot more stage presence. I mean, it was just like watching them put on a performance at a talent show. Also, there was alot of reference to Nicole's family. Did she forget about others that attended the show.
I was disappointed that all of the dolls were not in the house. One of the members was injured and unable to participate in the show. The stage was pretty bare bones. I wondered if this was the setup the rest of the tour locations got too, or if they decided not to ship the set over to Hawaii for the final performance because of cost and convenience. It seemed like more could have been done with the stage design. I understood this was the last show of the tour before they all headed home. I know Nicole wanted to perform for her friends and family, but I'm not sure the rest of the dolls cared. They seemed to be running out of steam. The dancing was fabulous. Nicole has amazing pipes! I could listen to her sing anytime. The costumes were fun, sexy, and conducive to dancing. Loved how they stopped the show to invite 3 people up on stage to dance. Nice interaction with the audience. Winner was Nicole's cousin!
I was so impressed with the PCD concert in June. I thought the security did an excellent job, they kept the crowd in order without being abusive. The seating and the stage was excellent, you could see the group so well from any point. Of course the group was amazing. Nicole and the girls put on such a good show!!!! I brought my daughter to this concert (it was her first concert) I was so glad to share this experience with her and to have this memory to share is priceless. Thanks to all for such a great concert.
Missing one doll. Heavy use of background tracks (we think two of the dolls lip scyhneched the whole time). Super short concert. Stage was basic.
The Pusscat Dolls came to Hawaii where lead singer was born and partly raised, she calls Hawaii home! A great performance by the group who went all out to give the Hawaii fans a performance they would not forget.
Aint no pain to be watchin the PCDs shaking their ass(et)s all over the stage. Honestly that's all I was expecting when my friend wanted to go - but I started listening to their songs in advance of the show, and now I'm hooked. A lot of the songs are smart and sweet and remind young girls to do the right thing and stand up for oneself. Also love how small and intimate the Blaisdell Arena is - you feel close to the stage from most anywhere. The show rocked, would go see them again.
I thought it was awesome. They're dancing skills are just unbelievable. The only thing I regret was not getting better seats.
PCD was such a rockin' concert! Their dancing was phenomenal and when they sang their hits everyone went crazy! Their energy is unbeatable! In addition, Nicole is from Hawaii...so it made it even more special. The concert started later than anticipated...about 15 - 20 minutes late and ended much too soon. I think the audience was expecting more but enjoyed themselves nonetheless!
Ticket price was slightly high at $80.00. It started late, 1 member was sick, the parking was beyond un-organized and chaotic.
Nicole and the girls did not disappoint and were even more beautiful in person. The only minus would be the absence of one doll who was said to be recovering from an injury sustained in previous shows. Other than that, I thought it was great overall. Nicole's family were sitting 2 rows behind us and so she would look over at them every so often and the energy and love that they had for each other was felt by all. It was very moving. PCD rocked!
concert started late. no opening act. I guess i expected more hipe. they performed about 1 hr and half. it seemed like it was over before i knew it. i really enjoy them, but something was missing, not sure what. Nicole played to one side of the stage more then the other. due to her family being on that side.
Concert was disappointing considering the hype surrouding Nicole's return home to Hawaii. One of the girls was out injured, the show started a half hour late and was short. The only saving grace was that they did an encore and because of that the show stretched to 90 minutes vs. 60
