    Monster’s on the Beach 2023

by Tiny on 5/24/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

Was easy to just use my phone to show my tickets. And go in. No long line waiting. And as always the show on the beach was awesome.

We loved the trucks...far right MC

    by J. V. on 5/24/23

When one of the trucks stalled during a run, three mechanics came ran out to work on it. One of them used a sledgehammer to adjust a bent header. The announcer took this time to make a joke about Nancy Pelosi's 82 year old husband having his skull, arms and hand fractured by psychotic conspiracy theorist. We loved the trucks, but the far right bigotry from this announcer ruined the experience.

    Let down

by Ou812 on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

Paid extra for monster experience for special seating. Normal gen adm tickets were either over sold or seating was not monitored and made to move over to make room for ticket holders so people constantly standing all over blocking view. 9 trucks but only 8 part of show. Several of those broke in the first few minutes of the show and the rest broke before the show was over and did not fill anywhere near their time allotments. Show started at 730 but 2 rounds of tuff trucks and quads were ran before that. My ticket allowed access at 6 to put party at other location and was not able to watch the races that were done prior to the show starting at 730. I have been to this show no less than 15-20 times and it was the worst I have attended at this venue

    View? What view?

by Not a happy monster trucker on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

So if only i could actually have seen the monster trucks. Made our way there early for the 7:30 show. Much to my surprise, the stands were packed. People holding space and the bleachers were full. No problem. Grab a seat anyway. So being 5’3 height is an issue for me. I had the boardwalk rail right smack in my view. No problem. Stretch or shrink. Show starts and what happens, non stop rows of people not taking seats stand in front of all of the people. Watching the show. Ask them to move pls. And get cussed at. We did not move an inch even when the break happened. And then. Every person who left to go somewhere took their merry time to go back to their seats. Honestly, the bleachers should be accessible from the back with seating so people dont piddle at their pace in Front of the crowd. And enjoy the show while the first 2-3 rows of bleachers have no view. Not happy that I paid and booked well in advance for something i did not get to see. Ended up watching what I could on videos from people who were in the hotels.

Awesome event for a Saturday night!

by Chris on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

Event was awesome! Definitely for Monster truck fanatics! Note; benches are uncomfortable and if they could adjust an arrangement where people can go to the bathroom and get back to their seat without worrying about losing their spot.

by Nicole B on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

It was an awesome show! My 2 year old loved it more with each truck. He also loved watching the four wheelers race as well. It was such a fun experience and we can’t wait for next year!

    Ok but over crowded

by Anonymous87 on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

Show was ok. Needed more monster trucks. Seating was terrible. Bleachers were over crowded, people were standing in between the bleachers trying to watch the show. Tickets were definitely over sold and not enough seating to accommodate.

Great experience, needs back up trucks

by Zane pattee on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

The show was sick, the trucks jus sent it a bit too hard and broke to fast, next year I think there should be more back up trucks incase

    Could be better

by Maddy on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

This event has a lot of potential! The stroller situation is a little hectic! Especially if you have a new born or if it is raining like it was this year and you want to keep your child covered. Seating was an absolute nightmare and there was not enough of it. Overall it was fun

    Pungo off road

by Tee on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

Wasn’t able to see the whole event due to limited seating/ obstructed view from others standing in front of you. From what I did get to see I think it would have been an amazing show.

    Awesome show

by DMH on 5/23/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

I liked that the show went on even though it was raining. I wish they offered something to wipe down the bleachers because they were drenched. My kids and husband had a great time. We will definitely be back next year!

    Incredible show as always!

by George on 5/22/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

For the 24th annual monsters on the beach here in Virginia it has been yet another great experience! I’ve been coming since 2007 and every year has never disappointed. Every truck and team always goes hard at the 4 shows and the experience is always a blast!

    Horrible

by Never again on 5/22/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

The whole experience was horrible. No matter where in the bleachers you sat you couldnt see anything!!!! We left early because of that. Hotwheels is much better time and overall experience. Not worth the money or the traffic to get there

    It was a fun event.

by Brittany J on 5/22/235th Street Beach - Virginia Beach

We got to meet the drivers and get up close to the vehicles. The show was awesome and loud so bring ear protection! The following day was awesome walking down the boardwalk watching them prep the trucks for that nights show.
