Tom Morello killed it as usual. Always a smile on his face because he loves what he does. He played Ghost of Tom Joad with Jacskson Browne. Chris Cornell came and joined for an AudioSlave reunion 12 years in the making.......Chris was a little off because he was wasted but who cares. They were having fun and it was awesome. Tom Morello is my guitar hero. I love Tom Morello! Always happy to witness his insane talent!
The show was AMAZING!!!! There were many highlights, though Audiosoave was the pinnacle. THIS should tour!!!!
This was an anti-Trump show and I found it motivating. PoR will never replace RATM but I'm glad they still stand for the same thing; fighting injustice.
This was an amazing show from beginning to end! You can't go wrong with Prophets of Rage and Audioslave but this show was so much more than that. Not just the additional line ups, acts and readings but the message. What an important and strong message to ALL. If you see injustice, fight back. I was extremely lucky to have gotten tickets to this show since there was only 13 mins notice and about 150-200 to sell. I also live in NV but happened to be in southern CA the weekend of this show which was perfect. The price was AMAZING ($25) and the all was donated to a women's charity -what better message to send at an anti-inaugural ball than that?! It's about the people, not profit. I saw Prophets of Rage in October and was hooked at the first note. I had heard the handful of songs that had been put out before that and was excited and happy about music again. If you have a change to them DO IT! The room was very small, standing room only. I was 3 rows back (until moshing put be back about 6 rows) but the view and sound was killer. I'm not sure there was a bad spot to be except for shorter people (which I am). I had let several people know my husband had a disability and where could he go if he needed to sit. I'm not sure if I was the 1st person to ever ask that but after several people and minuets I was given a folding chair that was put against a wall for him if needed. While he didn't end up using it (he had a cane with him) it was great to know we had a plan and they assisted. There were a few bars and the food people were eating looked like it was delicious. Over all if I were in that area again and a great band came up playing there I'd go back.
From the beginning to the end great show one of the best
The show was great to share with my daughter. She has grown up listening to rage and various other artist all of her life. They played all the songs you would expect to hear. Also get a little treat of a mini cypress hill show. Bottom line, not the same without Zak.
Anyone who has a chance to see this show should definitely find a way to go. The music was amazing and they gave 110% it was worth every penny. I am so glad I got a chance to see this.
I waited 20 years to see them perform live. Lived up to every expectation!
Wakrat opened with a set twice as long as it should of been....3 good songs and 3 that should never be played again. Then Awolnation came on and kicked ass as usual. They are so ready to be the headliner. First time seeing Prophets of Rage and was not expecting too much. They were really tight. The talent on stage kept me engaged even though I only knew about half of the set list. I have been a fan of Cypress hill for many years and knew some Rage songs but that was it. I would see this band again next time they came to town...it was a really good show!
We're not the demographic for this event, but have been attending shows for 50 years now. Venue was excellent, parking escape wonderful. Only heard end of first band telling us they didn't give a fuck. AWOLNation was surprisingly good. POR was everything I wanted it to be. The opening DJ set was really fun. Politically, I share the band's rage at where our nation is today. All in all, a memorable experience. Oh, and we drove from Santa Barbara to see, so we were clearly motivated.
Great show! They played all Rage's hits plus a couple Cypress Hill hits.
Really, really good show! Really impressed with how they reworked a few of the PE and Cypress Hill songs to make them unique
The show was wonderful! They brought power and strength to the stage.
The show was a blast! I knew it was going to be good but it was better than i thought it would be. I'd go see them again!
POR showed that great rock shows are about talent, attitude, and energy. With absolutely no stage show, background lasers, dancers, and all that other crap, this band truly showed what a great concert experience is all about!!
Place was half full. Band was on point, but zach would have made show a whole lot better. With B real and Chuck D it was kind of like watching a good cover band in an oversized venue. Know put original rage with cypress hill and public enemy opening and you would have a sold out show
Fun!!!!!!!!! Nevr have seen this group before. Sorry I waited but glad I went.
Great concert! Totally impressed with Tom Morello's guitar playing. Some of the most fantastic guitar I've seen in years!
Wakrat was little underperforming. But AWOLNATION woke up the crowd and did great. Prophets of Rage was actually way better than I expected. The band will always be on point I was unsure of vocals but breal and chuck d delivered even on RATM hits. Nearly all of the RATM hits were played from all albums. Great performance!!
