Since his 2010 debut, Dominican American crooner Prince Royce has become a permanent fixture at the top of the Billboard Tropical and Latin charts. His third studio album, 2013’s chart-topping Soy El Mismo, blends bachata and mariachi elements with sleek R&B-inspired production to dazzling effect, as featured on lead single “Darte un Beso” and the Selena Gomez-featured “Already Missing You.” Born in 1989 in the Bronx, Royce started writing songs in his early teens, ultimately settling on bachata, an Afro Latino style of music popularized in the Dominican Republic, as his genre of choice. His self-titled 2010 debut and 2012 follow-up Phase II were both hugely successful, earning him Latin Grammy nominations for Best Tropical Album and Best Tropical Fusion album respectively. On tour in 2013, Prince Royce has been wowing ticket buyers with his refreshing modern take on classic genres, earning him a reputation as one of Latin music’s best live concerts.
I would love to go to another one of his concerts...
The Show Was Excellent! I loved it.. but the only problem was that everybody was in the same level and it was hard to see the show!. it was a little to crowded and it was hard to move around. The Employees from that place are horrible even the own singer noticed!
I was a little aggitated on waiting to actually get into the building but I wouldn't lie, once Prince Royce got on stage and did his thing, it made it completly worth being on a line waiting in the cold to actually go in, WOULD DEF DO AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
It was absolutely amazing! He sang wonderfully and I enjoyed the whole show.
I <3 Prince Royce, but I feel like he shouldn't have sang other people's songs. He has a CD out, so he could have sang those songs. Also, he repeated some songs, instead of doing new ones.
It was ok I did not like it that much I thought about a something off the hook. But prince royce still young on this
Prince Royce performance was one of the best that I have ever seen... His Band was great and kept the crowd fully inverse with his songs. GREAT SHOW
I LOVE YOU PRINCE ROYCE!!!!!!! YOU ARE THE BESTT!!
jam packed and great music!!! i came an hour late and there was still a huge line....it went by quick and i came in and the dj was still playing..he was great!! everything was amazing except that there were so many ppl i couldn't move anywhere without ppl getting mad and pushing,,,but the concert was that great that it really didnt make a difference to me. the vibe was great..wish it was a longer concert!!
Ladies were left in awe, Guys were reminded how to treat their ladies .. DJ for the opening act was awesome! Felt like a party .. a really PACKED house party. I had so much fun & seeing Prince Royce perform, you can tell he lives for moments like these. His passion for the music is all shown once he's out there singing. The only thing that sucked was the pushing around, it was really packed. Also, the food is expensive & you may want to come early (really early) for parking situations and to be first in seating. That day was really cold so I wore comfortable shoes along with a nice jacket. Props to the all the girls coming in skirts and dresses and really high heels .. I don't know how they survived standing the whole night. But in the end, this performance made my day and night. He's such a Prince haha :)
He killed it up there!! Had the whole place screaming at the top of there lungs!! The spots we had were great also and we were near the back if the line.
Took my daughter for her birthday to see him. She is a fan. She was so happy, she really enjoyed her herself. Great show.
I absolutely loved Prince Royce in concert. He is so is so genuine and sincere. It show's in his personality and his songs! He makes every girl feel like a queen. I loved when he started explaining that he wrote the song Corazon sin Cara on the train heading to school because he felt that way at some point in his life!! It show's that even the rich and famous still have trouble with confidence!! I would recommend his concert to anyone and everyone...If he ever comes to the tristate area again (which I am almost positive he will with his talent), and as long as it's not a standing room only venue, I would definitely go see him again. I absolutely adore him to no end. The only thing that annoyed me during the whole concert were all the High School girls behind me pushing me to get closer to him! I wish they made it a 21 and over show!! :)
wow the prince royce concert here in philadelphia was amazing :)
It was a good concert and worth the price. Tons of screaming girls!! He is a young guy just starting out in his career. I wish him the best.
The concert itself was great. Royce was on point with his performance and the whole show was enjoyable and there was a great interactiom with the audiance. The dj in the beginng started to get a little annoying cause he kept on saying royce was comeing out and he didnt. The only downside was the vip meet and greet. All they do is line eveeyone upnand let you take one picture and then the staff yells at you to keep it moveing. The staff i found to be rude and pushy throughout the whole concert right from the beginning. Over all i would go again and it was a lot of fun but i would recomend to save some money and opt for a regular ticket, for any concert held in the trocadero theater
Fabulous artist, Great music - the instruments washed over the vocals often. It's a shame because the artist has such a fantastic voice.
It was great had a goodvibe all night it was kinda short but he sang all his hits that was the best part had lots of fun :-)
The show was great! He performed all the songs from his album and some of his favorite classics. It was definately worth it.
He has great music and enjoyed it during my daughter's quinceneara. She loves their music as much as i DO !!!!!!!! tOO bad the venue does not allow parents to take teenage daughters !!!!
