About

PRETTYMUCH In Concert

PRETTYMUCH may have been assembled by renowned music impresario Simon Cowell, but the so-called boy band is much more than just a studio creation. In fact, it's on a stage performing live that the full picture of what they do really comes into focus. For a group that has spent as much time working on its dance moves as its music, it's crucial for them to be able to put all that careful choreography in front of an audience. And when the quintet hit the stage, they bring those moves to bear in a show that's all about everyone in the room having as much fun as possible. A PRETTYMUCH performance ends up being as much a party as a concert—the group's fans are there to revel in the ecstatic, youthful vibe, to commune with their fellow PRETTYMUCH obsessives, and of course, to soak up the group's signature blend of pop and R&B. Their 2018 fall Funktion Tour across America is a perfect example of the portable party PRETTYMUCH brings with them wherever they go.

PRETTYMUCH Background

Brandon Arreaga, Edwin Honoret, Nick Mara, Austin Porter, and Zion Kuwonu all came from different parts of the country, but they were joined together in Los Angeles by superproducer Simon Cowell, the reality TV icon and boy band kingmaker. In 2016, the five young performers became PRETTYMUCH, a group dedicated to the idea of picking up where previous Cowell projects like One Direction and Westlife left off. After woodshedding their songs and their choreography, the group started to earn a following by posting videos on social media featuring their cover versions of tunes by such artists as Childish Gambino and Charlie Puth, and their dancing to music by the likes of Bruno Mars and Michael Jackson. The group released its first single, "Would You Mind," in 2017, followed by ‘PRETTYMUCH An EP' in the spring of 2018. That summer brought the appearance of their Ed Sheeran-penned single, "Summer on You."

The concert was great but VIP experience was not so great!

    by M. on 8/19/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

We wish the way the VIP will call, the VIP check in could have been handled better. First we were in line, crossed the street, get our tickets/badges and then fall back in line. Then we waited again outside in the heat of the sun for another hour or so and then allowed in. Then as my two daughters get their picture taken with the group, I felt like they were hurried and not given enough time.

    CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING FOMO

by Elizhama Haney on 8/18/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I got to have the time of my life and meet the boys. But I hate how the camera people rush you so much, like I paid a lot to see my favorite people on to be rushed. Other than that it was very live and such a great experience.

    M&g

    by J. T. on 8/18/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Regarding the m&g I was extremely nervous, and it was extremely quick like “group hug.” Barely, and Pose. Like when an experience like this is rushed it’s not even an experience. Especially when fans have so much nerves. 2 minutes would have been better. I hope this will make it too management. Overall, I loved the concert 💖🥺

    Amazing

by Lani on 8/18/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

It was amazing because I was snake to see them and be so close to the stage and them but the pushing was terrible everyone was hot and everything. Security wasn’t the best either

    Loved it

    by C. M. on 8/18/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

The boys were amazing as always but m&g was extremely rushed for no reason at all which was more based on their management. A lot of pushing. However the boys were amazing and it was an amazing show. Shoutout to security for being super helpful and nice.

    Fomo tour review

by Sav on 8/18/19Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Meeting the boys was great. Their show was amazing because they put their all into their performance. The set up and coreo was very well thought out. They sound so amazing live. On the other hand if you are thinking about standing in the pit just know Seattle beanz are kinda crazy and you will be pushed a lot. The back is much more comfortable if you are short and don’t want to be stepped on. Being close to the front if you are short isn’t worth it because you still can’t see over the people in front of you unless you have barricade. Love the boys though, a great way to rap up the fomo tour.

by Anaya on 8/16/19The Masonic - San Francisco

The atmosphere was amazing. The whole thing was like a party. Everyone was excited and bonded over the love of the best boy band out. The dancing was great and you could tell they were having fun on stage. The opener lasted I little longer than the crowd would have liked but overall amazing concert. Would definitely go to another PRETTYMUCH concert!

Other than all the pushing and shoving the concert was great

by Squid on 8/16/19The Masonic - San Francisco

People from the back were trying to get as close as possible and it was causing some girls to cole close to passing out. But PRETTYMUCH had an amazing performance and I was very happy with the out come!

    AMAZING

by Hafsa on 8/16/19The Masonic - San Francisco

Prettymuch are literally the best performers of our generation. The show was absolutely amazing even tho it was only an hour long. I wish it was longer. Otherwise Ticketmaster killed it with the seating and the parking pad that I bought. The whole night was so smooth and I think that was part of the reason it was so great. 💜 Cant wait for my next concert!
