    Fabulous

The performance was out of this world. I wanted to stay and watch the next show. Was a pure joy. Talent. Humor. Amazing vocals.

    Adam Pascal made the show!

by Chrissie and Donnie on 11/9/21Fisher Theatre - Detroit

This isn’t the best show for a seasoned Theater goer. It was “ saved “ if you will by Adam Pascal

    Great Show!

by Steph on 11/9/21Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Show: This was an amazing adaptation of the film! A lot of things are the same - but there are some very funny moments! Theater: It got really hot at the end of the first act. The AC needed to be up a little higher. And some of the ushers didn't know the seat layouts.

    Decent musical & great performances...with a caveat

by Indra on 11/9/21Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Having seen the movie MULTIPLE times in my life, I was very torn about the idea of this musical. If I had never seen the movie, I would have loved this much more. The performances were excellent and the musical numbers were great (the second act, in particular, has some really great songs) - but I found myself unintentionally comparing the live performance to the movie which isn't really fair to the musical. I couldn't help myself in this regard. I didn't walk away disappointed - the actress playing Vivian does a great job and little hidden gems (an increased role for Barnard and a new bellhop character were hilarious) plus reinterpreting/fleshing out some side characters was great. I just found myself wanting to go and watch the movie again afterward. Still, I'd see it if you're a fan of the movie for the curious experience of seeing how it is adapted for a musical.

    ADAM PASCAL is the Best!

by AH on 11/9/21Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Adam's voice sounds as good as it did in 'RENT'. He was the reason I attended this show and he did not let me down.

Adam Pascal is EXCELLENT in "Pretty Woman the Musical"

by MFAmusman on 11/8/21Fisher Theatre - Detroit

Adam Pascal was fantastic in PRETTY WOMAN. He was excellent in Act One, but got even better in Act Two!!! He sings like a dream (despite his age), and he was the ONLY actor that could be understood throughout all their dialogue and sung lyrics! With regard for the remainder of PRETTY WOMAN THE MUSICAL...the score, book, sets, direction, choreography, and actors...was mediocre at best. The ONLY reason to see this touring production is Adam Pascal.

Pretty Woman was more than I even hoped it would be. Of course, the story we all know. But presented through the music of these very talented performers was delightful

    Pretty Woman - Music

by Jeemay on 11/5/21Fisher Theatre - Detroit

It's probably difficult to produce a play that re-creates the movie very well, but this was an average musical from my viewpoint. Musicals are different from plays to begin with. We hoped the music we'd hear was from the soundtrack of the movie, but I believe only two songs were. One was "Pretty Woman", and the other was from the opera scene. Other than that none of the music was from the movie. This was disappointing because we like Pretty Woman's music so much.
