    Show was ok

by Lady on 1/23/22Citizens Bank Opera House - Boston

Feel like they left out important parts. Guy who played Edward didn't seem like he was into vivian. It was just ok

    Wonderful

by CJPJ on 1/22/22Citizens Bank Opera House - Boston

The musical let me relive the movie again. The "Happy Man" stole the show. The scenery, dancing and singing was wonderful. I only wished that "Vivian" wore the brown polka dot dress and the matching hat at the Polo match. The blue polka dot was not the same. But there was so much fun and funny scenes, the bell hop and hotel manager. I liked the smooth transition of the scenery. I had great seats in the orchestra center. The opera House was the right venue to present this musical. Thank you!!

    Pretty Woman - Boston

by KDG2098 on 1/22/22Citizens Bank Opera House - Boston

Great show, music was good and the performers were excellent. With COVID around, I think this was a success. Aside from the show, having to wear a mask during the entire performance was uncomfortable, but it was note the responsiblity of the show. GREAT JOB, thank you.

    The Propsal

by Tara & Doug on 1/22/22Citizens Bank Opera House - Boston

The show was incredible. But even more incredible - I proposed to my girlfriend in the front row just before the show started. When she said yes, the entire opera house cheered and clapped. It will definitely be a night neither of us will ever forget.

    Not good

    by k. g. on 1/21/22

The casting was awful. Kit and Vivian should have been reversed. The music was worse. Random ballads stuck in between iconic scenes. Stay home and watch the movie.

    Not good

    by G. L. on 12/14/21Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

This was so disappointing. We knew that it wasn’t going to be the same as the movie but we didn’t expect it to be so cheesy. Vivian was so goofy & Edward seemed like a lovesick puppy. The actors weren’t great but I think it was writing that was so horrible.

    GREAT Performance

by Bob on 12/14/21Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

First time back to Rochester for a while. GREAT performance, but they need a new performing arts center! Period. Skinny seats, steep aisles, limited accessibility, only "acceptable" acoustics. I am not saying we will never be back, but the building's deficits will certainly come into play in our decision - especially taking into account the it is in downtown Rochester. There was also a big event at the Armory across the street that was packed - little to no police presence in a violent crime area?

    Excellent Show

by Stefanie on 12/13/21Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

I recently moved to the Rochester area from NYC. I would see Broadway and Off Broadway shows all the time. I really didn’t have high hopes or expectations and thought nothing could compare to Broadway. I must say, this performance was just as good, if not better! The music, dancing and acting were superb! I gave it a standing ovation and recommended it to all my friends! I can’t wait to see many more shows in Rochester!

    For me just ok..

by Last Starfighter on 12/13/21Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Im glad we went. It was nice to get out and have some normalcy in these covid years. I did not enjoy this production. It was just "ok". As the performance started, i was thinking there was something wrong with the sound. It was not full sounding. The voices of the male and female leads did not appeal to me. It could very well be they didn't have anything to work with. Not one memorable song in this performance. Would i go see it again? No. Would i recommend to a friend? No.

    Okay...movie was better

by Kathy on 12/11/21Rochester Auditorium Theatre - Rochester

Theater seats were comfortable and we could see the play well. I enjoyed the dance scenes. The female lead was good. The male lead was not that believable. The final scene did not come across very good. I would think there was so much more that could have been done with it. I guess my main problem is that I feel the movie was so much better.

Well done. Not easy to turn such a classic film into a musical. Recommending to all my friends.
