About

The Pop-Tarts Bowl is an annual college football postseason game held in Orlando, Florida. Founded as the Sunshine Football Classic to become Miami’s second postseason college football game behind the Orange Bowl, the first matchup was renamed the Blockbuster Bowl for its debut on December 28, 1990 at Miami’s Joe Robbie Stadium, now Hard Rock Stadium. The bowl game moved to Orlando in 2001 and has served as the postseason home for teams in the ACC, Big Ten, Big East and more. Beginning in 2014, the Pop-Tarts Bowl became a fixed matchup between the ACC and Big 12. The bowl game was rebranded to the Pop-Tarts Bowl in 2023, adding in-game traditions like the fully-functional Toaster Trophy and Strawberry the “first edible mascot.” In 2025, the Pop-Tarts Bowl will be played on December 27 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

It would be very helpful to have the GPS directions or address to the paid for parking lot!!

  • Good time

Parade of bands was nice. Fanfest did not have too much to offer.

  • Stadium fine, if a bit confusing.

We attended the Pop-Tarts Bowl at Camping World stadium. The stadium was fine, though the directions to the Plaza level seats was not at all clear, and none of the people working the stadium seemed to know how to get there either. Parking was in a muddy strip of grass (it had rained all day the day before), and there was a lot of parking for less money near the stadium, in paved lots, so the parking pass was definitely not worth it. Not a lot of choices at the concession stands, but what there was, was fine.

  • Excellent Bowl game and atmosphere!

Absolutely the best edible mascot based bowl game ever. I had a cheesesteak it was delicious. Beer was cold. Finished everything off with a blueberry pop-tart. Winning made it all the better!

  • Great sound n clean seats

Great game. Seats were clean. Speakers and stadium screens were great.

  • It was good but not great.

The parking lot that I paid for near the Citrus Bowl stadium was unpaved. Because of recent rain, some of the parking lot was a sloppy mess. I drove to another parking spot within Lot 6 to be on drier ground. At least Lot 6 was reasonably close to the stadium. Since nobody was seated on the upper deck of the stadium, we could not run to the top row to see the rocket launch at Kennedy Space Center that occurred during the game. The weather was good after the rain and the temperature was reasonable in Orlando. It would be nice if these bowl game organizers would let people buy tickets in the upper deck between the goal lines and stop selling people tickets behind the goal posts.

  • Crazy Good Football/Family Experience

What an INCREDIBLE experience for us and what an HONOR for both teams. Each side represented their schools well. We purchased our tickets through Ticketmaster including the parking pass .. all went very smooth. It was close parking and fast entrance/exit from the stadium. We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton which was a very nice place and it was close. Camping World Stadium is beautiful and spacious, and all seats have great views. Pop-Tarts was a role model sponsor and they made it a fun football/family experience. The halftime show speaks for itself. This was a benchmark event and we would go again. Nicely done !!

Would have liked more review plays on the Jumbotron. The stadium was a little hard to navigate bc we had to go up the stairs to sit in our ground level seats.

  • Surreal experience

To basically live in Florida (about 8 months of the year-Colorado is home) and be able to drive 32 miles and see my home state K-State play in the "Pop-Tarts Bowl"was an unbelievable experience. I typically don't go to stadium games since if I want to watch one, Television captures it all so well and has instant replays. My cousin was in town so I bought good seats($452) and met them at the game. The temperature was like a fall football game in KS at around 62 degrees. The game was exciting-we were six rows from the team at the 50 yard line! Tons of screaming fans-lots of action and excitement. SpaceX Falcon launched a X-37B plane just over the horizon while the game was going on-which the stadium put on the Jumbotron-truly a surreal experience with fantastic bands playing at half time and my team winning in the end. Like going to "Friday Night Lights"movie in real time. A regular football game that everything was enhanced by great speakers, great lighting and just a perfect night of football. (and I was not drinking) Such a fantastic experience I am going to go again sometime in the near future.
