POP NYE Tickets

Great lineup, my favorites were Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, and Andy Moor. I sat in the upper level. In the beginning I felt like I was watching the party instead of being in it. got better as more people showed up, stood up instead of just sitting and watching.

Great atmosphere, the venue is very nice. Was never to hot or cold inside and the upper seating was great for taking a rest, loved it. Only downside was the dance floor getting shut down so soon and not being able to get in at all. Other than that great event all around, would love to go again.

Just what I needed, I'm glad my first massive was a trance event.

I went with alot of friends and the event was just amazing!

One of the best rave I have been too in my life. My wife and 3 other friends said the exact same thing! Will be back next year!

it was a waste of money to buy floor tickets because i couldn't even get on the floor. good job overselling.

I bought the general admissions ticket witb all of my other friends hoping that we can go freely on the dance floor and back to the seats. Unfortunately they closed off the floor at around 06:30 pm preventing attendees from leaving the floor and coming onto the floors. This is a big hazard with this is that people on the floor can't leave the area to get water, usr the restroom or even sit down knowing that there is no entry. People up at the chairs can't go down to dance. We were entitle to go anywhere we please and with these restrictions we lost the rights to do anything. Also it was useless to split up the level with general admission and upper level when the people holding the upper level tickets were also receiving wristbands. This was unfair to me and was also unfair to.my friends who paid full price for the general admissions to have all of the benefits just to be let down and be denied. I would like to have service for this or I will be forwarding this to the bbb.

I mainly came for Above & Beyond. I've been wanting to see them forever! Please do it another NYE, Skills!

Had lots of fun. The artists were amazing and the event was organized well.

O Arena was a great venue with excellent DJs... The only negatives were: 1) No coat check 2) No VIP/Reserved seating

Above and Beyond, Dash Berlin were simply awesome. Sound in the arena was amazing!

POP NYE WAS TOOOOOOO CRACKIN! DASH BERLIN KILLED IT! COULDN'T OF ASKED FOR A BETTER DJ TO DO THE NEW YEAR'S COUNTDOWN!

I love raves at the Oracle, been to 4 in 2012. This time it got pretty packed at 8PM, had to sit towards the back. The back isn't as loud and fun compared to the front. Also, they closed the floor at around 8PM due to capacity but I think they did that early to prevent swarms of people in and out of that area. Line up was OK from 7-9PM, seemed like music wasn't as hyped up and exciting. Dash Berlin was incredible, Ferry Corsten was great. Pop March 2012 still had better music because it was familiar. The songs played this time were mostly unknown, with the exception of ATB Better Off Alone, Zombie Nation, Coldplay remix, Above and Beyond and some other songs by Dash/Ferry. I heard Dyloot played here early so he can perform in LA the same night. I feel sorry for upper level people, wayy too far and music not loud enough. Kudos to the foam lights, it made the entire arena light up and exciting.

Overall, I was happy, but not thrilled. The lineup was solid, but Above and Beyond played their set way too early because they had to play at another event. My other problem was that I purchased seats for the floor, but could only get down there for the last hour because they were at capacity.

If you havent gone here, youre missing so much of your life!

First I'd like to say, thank you Skills, for hosting the event. I can tell you guys put a lot of effort into bringing in an awesome lineup. (Above & Beyond, Andy Moor, Ferry Corsten, and Dash Berlin all in one show? Awesome!) I must say, however, that my friends and I were really disappointed when we spent over $100 per ticket and we could not get into the dance floor. I understand that it's for safety reasons, but Skills should really look into a bigger venue, because we all want to have room to dance and have a good time with each other. Additionally, the fact that you guys closed the lower levels off and would not let people back in if they left, discouraged people from: getting fresh air when they needed it, getting water (highly dangerous!), and going to the bathroom (there were a few times when some guys peed into cups/bottles in corners, which is pretty gross). While I did have fun, I can neither recommend nor spend $100+ for another Skills ticket until I see that these issues have been resolved. As for water, you should really look into how Insomniac has their water policy, because the goal is to make it accessible to all. You know what happened at the Cow Palace, and you don't want that happening again at the Oracle Arena.
