Great music and every artist was awesome!! I truly enjoyed myself.
Overall Great show great environment. It was for sure an Evening under the Stars. We had a blast and can’t wait to the next one ♥️
The artist's was worried about time Pokey , Willie Clayton , Tucka ,Jwon Tk,they all performed better @ Cobb Energy Center
Great environment and atmosphere! The concert was very good and kept me on my feet the entire time!
I enjoyed the show...MC Lightfoot kept the crowd on their feet.
I enjoyed the event. I did not enjoy not having guides to assist single event goers get back to their car in the dark.
This concert did my soul good! All the performances were awesome and can’t forget MC Lightfoot.
Overall really great concert!! Sir Charles had a great performance. Only upgrade needed is the wait time for drinks.
I usually don't go to these events but it was amazing and I will be attending again!
They did not open the doors on time. Concert started late. The sound wasn't that great.
The girls loved it. Will attend another event when the Bad Boys return
Awesome show, great way to use the venue besides rodeos. Still smells like horses only reason I didn't give 5 stars plus you have to wait too long in line for a drink. And the drinks sucked, they were so weak and expensive.
Nobody really entertain me. Singers moved a little while. They looked tired.
I had so much fun. I really enjoyed all of the singers.
One of the worst Chitown Blues Festival events. Having the Calvin Richardson R&B mixed in with blues artist was disappointing. Pokey Bear performance was embarrassing to hear and witness as he lip sync and had no band to play for him. More embarrassing was the person who followed him on stage recording him with a mobile phone.
It was nice I felt Pokie Bear was not right lip singing everyone else did a great Job
Very entertaining. The music was well performed. Just a great show
Blues legend, Bobby Rush, was fantastic. A great singer, a great performer and harmonica player with a great band behind him. He is one of the old-school, professional blues performers who knows what the people like. However, I was unhappy with some of the other performers, i.e, Poke somebody, and I left after that performance. Willie Clayton was supposed to be on the show, but I don't know if he ever performed because I was so turned off by that guy Poke who did not have a band and was not really a BLUES singer. He is the reason I didn't give the show 5 stars, but I want to commend and recommend Bobby Rush and Bennie Latimore. I am a big BLUES fan. April 7th was my birthday and I was looking forward to enjoying a nice "Blues" show. At 69 years old, when I go to a show billed as a Chi-Town Blues Festival, I expect to see Blues singers, not Poke running across the stage with no band singing, "I love the Blues". The performer Calvin Reese (?) had a nice voice, but he was NOT a Blues singer. And his YOUNG band played so loud when they started that the lady next to me put her fingers in her ears when they started playing. The only saving grace for the performer "Calvin" was that he sang two Bobby Womack songs, which back in the day were considered Rhythm and Blues (R&B). Calvin R would be okay in another setting, but not in a Blues Festival. It was as if the people who produced or marketed the show were just sticking "anybody" in the line-up. They should have allowed Latimore to perform longer as he is more of a Blues legend rather than let that Poke guy stay out there so long as if they were "stalling for time" for a possible "missing" performer, but as I said, I left the show after Poke and do not know who performed next at about 10:00 pm.
I loved Bobby Rush and Willie Clayton they was amazing but everyone put on a great show.
This was my 1st time seeing Pokey Bear. He was entertaining. I would definitely see him again. The age group for this concert was around 40 and up. I was so embarrassed to see our people standing at the bottom of the stage like they were 21, trying to touch their hand and snatch cd's. Seriously, you touched his hand now what? They had to get security at a 40 and up concert. Other than the embarrassment, Pokey Bear did put on a good show.
