Absolutely stunning! Must see for any pokemon fan!

by James91 on 11/22/16Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

This was the event of the year in my opinion. It was beautiful from beginning to end and it was definitely worth much more than the price. It was a unforgettable homage to the core series and if it comes around again I will definitely want a front row view. Could not recommend this show any more highly.

by Satoshi1 on 11/22/16Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - Atlanta

You have to go and feel the real "orchestra". This is one of kind show and I will go again if they come back!

The Pokemon cncert was so awesome!

by Anonymous on 11/4/16Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

The music was great, and so were the graphics. The conductor was entertaining too and I even got to meet with her face to face after the show. Definitely was the best show I have seen in a while, if not ever.

    Pokémon Symphony was AMAZING

by ElsaComieChini on 11/1/16Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

This was my second Symphony I've ever been too and I absolutely loved it. I'm a die hard Pokémon fan and love all the video game music that was played. This was an enjoyable experience for us and I wish to come back next year and listen to them play again! Everyone, fan or no fan, young or adult, should come out to listen because it really was that good!(:

Everything was absolutely marvelous. The head usher gave us upgraded seats for FREE! We sat right in front of the orchestra and it was wonderful.

    Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions was phenomenal

by MatthewGreen on 11/1/16Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

As an avid Pokemon player, I love all things Pokemon. So when I heard that this event would be so close, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. For those of you who don't know, there's a visual aspect to the show. The screen in the back was synced ever so nicely with the beautiful music. It goes in order through the generations of Pokemon, starting of course with Red, Blue, and Yellow going all the way up to X and Y. The point of it is to show the adventure and feeling of what happens in the game while the song plays on. During solos and other important parts of songs, the camera was focused on the musicians. It's a nice touch for those who weren't able to sit as close as I did. My only dislike is that the intermission lasted too long for the length of the show. Or maybe I just couldn't wait for the music to continue!

Love the Games = Love the Symphony

by Emilylimily on 11/1/16Music Hall At Fair Park - Dallas

This symphony show is based entirely on the origin source of Pokémon: the "Gameboy" games. (I say "Gameboy" to simplify the individual-console gaming systems). Pre-show the screen plays "Who's That Pokémon?" and the audience got so involved and excited! If you've played all the games, you will love this show. I was grinning like a kid for the first half of the show which features the "original" games, Red, Blue, Yellow, etc. I wasn't as familiar with the later half's music because I haven't played the Gen 2 games. But I still really enjoyed it! Its great to watch the music come to life and be synchronized with the big screen that shows you the evolution story of the Pokémon games.

    Fantastic music, limited selection

by FyreFlareon on 8/5/16The Mann - Philadelphia

This is my second time attending the Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions. It was basically identical to the first one, which was a bit of a downer, but the music was as top notch as ever. The Pittsburgh Orchestra did a fantastic job. Even though I had been through the event before, it still digs up immense nostalgia to be brought through the games the way they did. However they managed to craft it in such a way to give you that similar feeling as if you were playing them, all crammed into minutes of time, was impressive. My second visit was definitely worth it. The only thing I had hoped about the event was a little more diversity with the tracks. Pokemon is a large franchise that has a lot of music out there. This event focused entirely on the handheld games, which is the vast majority. I would have liked to have seen more from the anime or the various movies, or maybe even the new mobile game Go. They did do their traditional surprise at the end with the original anime introduction, which was nice, but I think there is far more potential left untapped. There is a lot of nostalgia from outside the handheld games too! Also the excessive fees tacked on by TicketMaster are a real drag.

    Great orchestra!

by Singinmom on 7/16/16The Mann - Philadelphia

The Pittsburgh Symphony was wonderful, and having them amplified (every member was miked) really led to a beautiful, full sound. The accompanying video clips were fun - my son really related to them all. I enjoyed the close ups of the musicians.

    Absolutely Fantastic!

by GhoulBoss on 7/14/16The Mann - Philadelphia

As a Pokemon fan since the Red/Blue/Yellow days, this was definitely a spectacular performance and experience. My only gripe is that I wish they had played a few more songs from the earlier games (Bicycle theme and Lavender Town would have been neat), but considering they had 6 games to get through, I think they did a great job at choosing not only fan-favorites, but a mix that really brought out the key events in the games. Would definitely attend again next time Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions is in the area.

A Must Even For Casual Fans of The Series

by Bmeh on 7/14/16The Mann - Philadelphia

Seeing the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra alone was worth the price of admission (only about $39 for lawn seats). To hear them play beautifully arranged selections from one of the most iconic series of all time would delight anyone familiar with the games or anime. It's a testament to the original composers that 8-bit music can translate into gorgeous synphonic movements, everything about the performance was tasteful and it's a great way to get kids and adults into classical music

Awesome event for Pokemon gaming fans.

by SatoshiTomoe on 7/13/16The Mann - Philadelphia

This was my second time attending this event, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. The Pittsburgh Orchestra preformed wonderfully, and the added visuals of playing through the games really adds to the overall experience. Due to the release of Pokemon Go, there was a big community effect with everyone helping each other find near by Pokemon, and the director even took a selfie with everyone holding up their cell phones who were running the app. It was a great experience, and I'd love to go again if it comes back around the Philadelphia region.

What an incredible show. I've never had the pleasure of seeing a Symphony before and man, was I impressed! Me and my boyfriend had the most incredible time at this event. Like nothing I've ever seen before! The visuals were wonderful and the symphony was out of this world. Highly highly recommended!

    Pokemon Symphonic

by thedvlsadv on 7/13/16The Mann - Philadelphia

Fantastic! We were lucky/fortunate to be present at the first concert AFTER the release of Pokemon GO! The orchestra performed beautifully and the video stories of the Pokemon games were completely in sync with the music.

One of the greatest experiences of my life!

by PokeFan123 on 6/15/16Microsoft Theater - Los Angeles

Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions was simply amazing! From beginning to end, I was glued to the sound of the beautiful orchestral Pokemon music. Also, Junichi Masuda made a surprise visit and conducted one of the songs. Loved every song that was played during the event. Some of my personal favorites were the following... Prepare for Trouble, ... Lake Guardians End of the Road An Eternal Prison Friends, Fights, and Finales Gotta Catch 'Em All KISEKI (conducted by Junichi Masuda!!!!!). Susie Seiter was absolutely spectacular as the conductor for the majority of the event (until Masuda took over near the end). I will remember this night for the rest of my life. Highly recommended if you are a Pokemon fan, whether young or old.
