Although I saw you guys open for k.hart on the let me explain tour in d.c. you guys were funny then and now... and to add lil cvs to the mix was even funnier...... but the poor guy who came out that all 3 comedians joked on was horrible....i also took pics with the fellas very nice guys....follow my ig shakiralena....i follow yours keep it up fellas true fan
We had the best time Saturday night. All the comedians were hilarious but LaVar was simply the best. His impersonation of Kevin Hart was by far the best Ive ever seen and SPOT ON! I love to here him talk about his job at CVS.......that had me in tears. He was the best host ever and should have been the headliner to be honest.
First of all, I actually thought I was coming to see Kevin Hart and that the Plastic Cup Boyz were just opening up for him, not the whole act. I think it was a bit misleading in the PR/communication for this event. LOVED the CVS guy, but didn't care much for the rest. The others had a few good lines, but overall weren't that funny. CVS guy should have been the headliner. The headliner they had was horrible and I think he made everyone feel very uncomfortable when he got so angry and misjudged a few reactions from audience members.. it turned into a racial issue really fast....and both black and white audience members were uncomfortable. Also, I completely understand there is not much of a lne when it comes to what subjects are talked about with commedians, but the whole domestic violance section really crossed that line.....I won't go back to see them or recommend them to others and I love all levels and types of comedians. I live on Comedy Central. I love going to events at the Fillmore. I really like the smaller venue. I took two other people with me to this and was very dissappointed. I guess my expectations were just too high since they were associated with Kevin Hart. Sorry, this one was a bust for me.............
The title and way things were presented was that Kevin Hart would be at the show. That was not the case. It was just guys that had been opening acts for Kevin Hart. But no where did it say that was what the show was. The guys were good, but overall very disappointed that Kevin Hart was not there. I will question and re-question any tickets that I may want to get.
This show is so bootleg. They bill it as Kevin Hart but it's actually some guys he thinks are funny that no one knows. The first guy wasn't funny so we left.
The comics were generally funny. However, I am an idiot and thought it was for KEVIN HART. I mean...I could have done more research on the event...but...I didn't. So I guess it is my own fault. But Just be sure you know it is not a Kevin Hart show. :)
We really thought that Kevin was going to be there. It was a lot of people thinking that but it was a good show.
We drove 6 hours in an RV to see what we thought would have been Kevin Hart. We did not know that it was only his headliners until the show was over!!!!! Diesel in an RV is not cheap!!! This was my sons birthday gift from his girlfriend and she was mortified to find out he was not going to be there!!! What a total waste of money and our time!
My 17 y/o son is a huge fan of Kevin Hart so when I saw that he was coming to the House of Blues and it was "This is an all ages event" I bought tickets. Not only did Kevin Hart not perform or have anything to do with the evening besides slap his name on it but the headliner was totally inappropriate for anyone under 21. We would have left but my son begged to stay to see Kevin Hart. We were totally disappointed, embarrassed and misled. It would have helped if the advertisement stated Kevin Hart's Plastic Cup Boyz FEATURING... Don't go to this event unless you are over 21, enjoy nasty comedy and don't want to see Kevin Hart.
Can't wait to see Lavar Walker again!! Awesome!!!!
I thought the show itself was good, although it did not start on time. The comedians are each entertaining in their own way but do not hold a candle to Kevin Hart. I initially bought tickets thinking I was going to a Kevin Hart show, but later realized I was going to see his understudies. The advertising was a little deceptive but the show overall was good for the money spent.
The comedians were funny enough but we were a little confused that there was no Kevin Hart to be found. Sad day.
I really enjoyed the show! Haven't laughed that hard in a long time!
The show title of "Kevin Hart's Plastic Cup Boyz" is misleading as majority of the audience there was expecting to see Kevin Hart. At the end of the show, most of the audience remained seated with a confused look waiting for Kevin to show up. I have been to a lot of comedy shows and overall performance was pretty poor. Most of the jokes were mildly funny with a few break out laughs.
I didn't understand Kevin Hart would not be present. Very overpriced for the talent there that evening. The first comedian was funny, the last two not so much!
Really great show! I laughed like crazy from start to finish.
Pretty funny! Was entertained from the opening act to the headliner!
First comedian "opener for the openers" was by far the most humorous. Good clean situational humor. The second comedian started out strong but went to some dark places....this is not a family show. He was above average overall. The last comedian was not funny at all. Maybe laughed at 2 jokes in 40 minutes. He kept commenting on how quiet it was in there. He was right! Write some material. Very perverted humor....shouldn't be a headliner.
I really enjoyed these guys. Loved the personal, laid back feel. Well worth it; would definitely go again!
