PLAIDE is a band formed by Brooklyn based Korean Jazz saxophonist/composer Sun Yoo. His band is characterized by actively utilizing the energy of the live sound and the atmosphere of electronic instruments. His music makes the audience feel relief from their own headspace and fall into a deeper mood that is uplifting and serenity. Composing with a progressive mind and unique imagination as a driving force, his skill of improvisation adds an extra layer. Sun is trying to capture the harmony of light and darkness in music.
