An outstanding performance by the TSO. It was easy to forget that a large symphony orchestra was sitting right in front of us performing the music from the numerous Pixar films that were featured. Really a treat!

by tucsonnativemama on 12/1/15Tucson Music Hall - TucsonTSO did a beautiful job as you watched the Pixar films on the big screen. What an incredible event for the whole family!! My 8 year old went twice - once with a friend and then with our family because he enjoyed it so much!! That alone tells you it was not only beautiful music but "entertaining" as well!! Job well done!!

by Anonymous on 11/7/13Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisThe film segments were really well done to tell just the right part of the story to match with the music. Several if the films brought tears to my eyes. But for all the touching film clips there were plenty that just made you smile.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Pixar in concert - great show
by bjrazz on 10/30/13Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisIt was an excellent show. One part that was most remarkable is how well the music was synchronized with the accompanying film from the various Pixar movies. If you didn't see the musicians, you would swear the music was coming from speakers.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Better than expected
by SaintMonica on 10/30/13Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisI was not aware that a visual component was part of this concert. They showed excerpts from the movies for which they were playing the ochestral score. I wished I had brought my 8-year old. He would have enjoyed it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Amazing Experience!
by Shell1025 on 10/30/13Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisThis was my first experience with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and I am looking forward to many, many more concerts. They played beautifully. I laughed and actually cried! You could feel the emotion of each suite. The conductor, and I apologize that I don't remember his name, was great as well. He told a story for each suite and even share personal experiences. It was like sitting down with a good friend and talking about the Pixar movies. Clowes Memorial Hall was very nice. Professional staff, helpful and polite. The facility itself was clean. Easy to find and navigate. It wasn't difficult to get in or out of the parking lot.
