We left after the 5th song it was so bad

by RMS on 12/11/23The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

It was my wife's birthday, and we were looking forward to a fun night of Elton John songs live. It was no better than a HS production. The sound mix was poor. You could barely hear the guitars solos when you knew they were in the song!!! We have seen cover bands at bars that played better than this tribute band. Elton John should ban them from playing his songs. Total rip off paying to see this so-called band.

    Disappointed

by JJ on 12/11/23The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

We always love cover bands but this one was a disappointment. There was not much interaction with the audience. "Elton John"never left the piano and I could not see him from the upper level at all. I think the piano should have been more centered if that was where he was going to be throughout the show. The guitar players just stood looking at "Elton"I also didn't like that they played obscure songs from the album. There is a reason they were not hits.

    An awesome evening!

    by Tdog on 8/9/23

We went to see Philadelphia Freedom at the Vogel! It was our first time there. The venue bright and clean and well kept. The roof top was a pleasant place to have a drink before the show, All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The floor plan was a bit tight, but not a deal breaker for having a good time. The concert was great. "Elton John"and his band played for 2 hours with only a few moments between some of the songs. The whole evening was very enjoyable and I would definitely go back for other shows.

This was the best tribute band that I have ever heard. Over-the-top wonderful. There was not a single disappointment in the entire evening. Just perfect perfect perfect.

Balcony seats with totally obstructed view

by Totally obstructed view horrible seats that they sell on 8/8/23

Philadelphia freedom band was excellent no question about it but the vocal theater has the audacity to sell obstructed seats in the balcony that have no view and it’s totally hidden by the light fixtures. They claim these are the best seats in the house but yet you have zero view of the concert, they should know better shame on them

    Great Music. Poor Venue.

by JJ on 2/21/23F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-Barre

This band should have been inside on the main stage. The show sold out weeks ago so more tickets would have been sold. Instead everyone was crammed in the lobby on metal chairs where you couldn’t even see the band if you sat from middle to the back. Many people were shocked when they showed up to see the set up. Theses musicians and attendees deserved better. The music was phenomenal!

    Great band ….Horrible venue

by KJA on 2/21/23F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-Barre

I have seen Phil. Freedom every time they played in Wyo. Valley and this was the worse experience due to the Venue. The whole Kirby lobby was filled w folding chairs. The best shows in the lobby are the ones you can mingle with others and watch the show dancing to the music. The vocals on Doug could of been a tad louder. Phil. F. put on an A+++ show with sound and vison. Highly recommend seeing this band for a GREAT evening except not at the Kirby’s lobby.
