This was my first-ever visit to Cherry Hills community church concert auditorium and I purchased these tickets months in advance (looked forward to attending for just as long), drove 300 miles in the snow from Grand Junction, only to arrive at our seats in Section K, where a large boom was stored in a location that blocked half of the view of the stage. The music and worship really touched my soul, but my level of disappointment took precedence. In my opinion, that boom could have been moved off to the side somewhere in the auditorium.
On the plus side: the acoustics, lights and sound were outstanding. Phil Wickham and Josh Baldwin brought worship music to life. But it’s the little things like this that can ruin a good experience.
Concert organizers and promoters need to communicate so these types of disappointments are avoided in future venues.
