Was great fun to see him

    by k. p. on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

He was fun to see, hear his stories. It was especially great to see him interact with children.

    Kind of a bummer

by CSPF on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

The show was great! He was funny, the host was wonderful, I actually learned a lot! that part was great. We were told at the end that you can go buy his book so you could get it signed and take a picture with him and they were all sold out! They didn't even have any for that show time, they'd sold out in the morning show. Such a disappointment for a lot of people who drove hours to see him and buy the book.

    Fun night!

    by B. w. on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

Just a great night, he was fun and entertaining just like his shows! They did run out of books from first show, so it was disappointing that we werent able to get the book, or the photo opportunity. Wish that had been an option when buying the tickets instead.

    Funny but too short

by Sally on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

We enjoyed seeing Phil Rosenthal but his show was very, very short. He was there for less than an hour- maybe 45 minutes. So not really worth the ticket price. The show was not very well organized or thought out. He could have incorporated more "behind the scenes" stories of Everybody Loves Raymond and Somebody Feed Phil.

Fascinating and very funny show. Phil is a delight

by Blink on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

You gain an insight into how they make Somebody Feed Phil and wonderful priceless stories about the show. Totally entertaining

Phil is as engaging, funny, unpretentious, and delightful.

by Suburban Critic on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

Phil Rosenthal is a very bright and talented entertainer with a terrific sense of timing. It was a joy to seem him live having followed his food/travel/cultural shows for a number of years (PBS then Netflix). The only criticism I would offer is the selection of the host/interviewer. Phil and the show deserved someone of more stature. Jenny seemed to be trying too hard and doesn’t have the bandwidth to enhance the interactions, often interrupting Phil and missing on the timing.

    Feed Phil!

by Luckern on 12/14/22The Wilbur - Boston

Overall, this was a great experience. I really didn’t know what to expect. Either way he is naturally funny so it was worth going to see him. Phil is like the modern day Mr. Rogers. I hope he films in Boston and appreciate that he came out to talk to everybody. The price for tickets was even reasonable to see one of your favorite celebrities.

Don’t see a seated show at the fillmore

by Fan on 12/7/22The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

Phil was okay, not sure listening to the talk was worth $50 a ticket. We were all the way in the back and a poll blocked our view. That is not Phil’s fault but I would never go to the Fillmore for a seated event again. The Knight Theater would have been a step up from this location.

    More Than Five Stars

by Mike H. on 12/6/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Phil's show at the Buckhead Theatre was absolutely incredible. The entire experience for my wife and I that night was great. Phil, along with host Mara Davis was great and the theatre was the perfect size for his show and book signing.

A Book Signing in a Theater

by Wally on 12/6/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

I’ll start by saying that we love Phil, his travel & food series and his sitcom. He makes us laugh. We have visited some of his restaurants. And we will visit more. But the Evening at the Buckhead Theater was little more than a book signing event. I’ve never paid that much for a book signing. The one hour on stage was half Phil, half Mara Davis and over half of the content was audience Q&A. A printed transcript wouldn’t take 5 minutes to read. The audience began leaving when the ‘one more question’ cue was given. That cue led to a queue in the lobby that would take longer than the Evening lasted. Not sure exactly what I expected, but the Evening with Phil left a bad taste.

    Great Night w/ Phil

by GeorgiaGMo on 12/6/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Not going to spoil what he talked about, but as funny and personable I. Seeing him live as he portrays on TV. Would definitely do again!!

    Good guy, short show

by Kickshaw on 12/6/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Venue was Great. Everything was clean, concessions for efficient. No issues there. Phil was delightful as always… The question and answer session wasn’t well orchestrated. Felt like the show could have used 20 to 30 more minutes of Phil‘s time. However… He did make time to take pictures with everyone in attendance that had a book. So, I suppose there is a trade-off! Super nice guy. Hope to see him again!

    Phil Rosenthal - Disappointed

by GMan on 12/5/22Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

I expected more of a comedy show. I was disappointed that it was really a glorified interview. It was interesting but underwhelming, to say the least. Definitely not worth the money unless you were an extreme Phil fan.

Great show but why start an hour late

by Nolamannc on 12/5/22Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

Loved the show and there was great interaction between Phil and Alon. The facility was good but beware that the same drink costs 50% more between the two bars. The main distraction was that the show started one hour later than the published time. We care enough to pay for the experience so please respect our time.

    So fun and great venue

by Ecc on 12/5/22Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

Loved the show. I did think it started an hour earlier than it actually did because that was the time printed on my ticket. That’s when the doors opened. Also I got a request to “upgrade” my ticket stating that it was GA from Live Nation but it wasn’t GA. I had an assigned seat. This felt a bit pushy and was a bit irritating. But the show itself was perfect!

    Awesome - Phil was Charming

by KimChs on 12/4/22The Charleston Music Hall - Charleston

Totally wonderful. If you love Phil, you'll love him even more when you see him in person. He's warm, accessible, tells great stories and stays for photo ops at the end. I took my son and we loved the experience.

    Phil was wonderful, as expected.

by Gina on 12/3/22The Charleston Music Hall - Charleston

Phil was as lovely and upbeat in person as he is on tv. The bookstore owner/sponsor did a nice job introducing and filling in for the interview when she left the stage! Personally I did not care for the choice of interviewer as there didn’t seem to be good chemistry between her and Phil. He’s so upbeat and cheery and she just wasn’t, plus she deserted Phil and he even invited her back into the stage twice! Loved Phil and thought the bookstore owner would’ve been a better fit to ask him questions. Overall though, my family and I loved the experience. Only took off one star for the person interviewing.

    Loved it!

    by H. J. on 11/30/22

He is just as nice in person as he is on the show. We also got to meet Lily & Richard & they were both so lovely too! The show was funny, informative & we had a really good evening.

    Loved seeing Phil

by Linda on 11/24/22Palace of Fine Arts - San Francisco

The event was wonderful but the venue could have provided better information and lighting on the outside could have been better.
