Classy theatre, unforgettable costumes and special effects. Anthony Crivello, best "Phanton", I've heard!
The show was great!! But you sit in the dark for most of it and then they added in pyrotechnics that blinded you out of the blue. Either they should lighten up the show during the scenes when they are going to do pyrotechnics or at least warn you so you don't feel blinded.
The Las Vegas version of POTO is always fun to watch. What's not to like? The same songs, a faster pace, and fireworks so close you're momentarily blinded. ;-3 The alterations to the lair scene are also fun to watch.
If you like Phantom of Opera, don't miss this one. It's gorgerous/beautiful/powful/amazing. Try to get local discount if you can.
What a great show! Gave me goosebumps. Would see it again!
This is my fifth or sixth time seeing Phantom, but every time I've seen it before has been at the Capital Theater in Utah. We decided to see Phantom while on a quick weekend to Vegas, and boy am I glad we did! It was...as the name states....a spectacular. There were changes that I wasn't expecting, but it definitely didn't take away from the show. The additions were wonderful and even my husband, who went to see it reluctantly, was impressed. The voices were wonderful, and the fun tricks with the stage made for an unforgettable night. I highly recommend to old fans as well as new.
Great show. My date loved it and doesn't usually enjoy musicals. The show went by so quickly you didn't realize there wasn't an intermission.
This was our second time to see Phantom at the Venetian and I'm ready to go again. Sets and costumes are beautiful, and of course the music is the whole story. If you get a chance, go see it!
Excellent show, I want to see again, the performers where excellent. I wish it was longer GREAT JOB AGAIN
A good show in a beautiful theater. I was very impressed with Carlotta and Raul, but I missed some of the power from the Phantom. The mannequins on the side of the theater are fun, but they don't work on stage during Masquarade. It was good enough for Vegas, but I wouldn't spend the money for Golden Circle tickets.
Love this show. I've seen it now from row B (this time) and row hh before. Good from any vantage point. Fantastic sets, great sound... you won't find another production to be better! My friend saw Phantom in NY & SF as well and he says this one is the best because the venue is built specifically for it... I agree.
This is a must-see for any Phantom fan. Las Vegas was the third time I've seen the show and it was spectacular. To see this show in a theater built for it was what made it such a great experience. Although, the show is reduced to a mere hour and forty minutes, I didn't feel like I missed anything.
The stage and costumes were outstanding. I have never witnessed special effects as good as Vegas Phantom.
We saw the original Phantom of the Opera on Broadway and in Vancouver, B.C., but the Las Vegas show is undoubtedly the best of all of them. The performers and musicians are fantastic. The sound system, special effects, costumes, staging, and the theater itself are just "over the top." It is the best overall production we've ever seen. Don't miss it!
I have seen this show 4-5 times, but it just gets better every time. The actors and their voices are phenominal. The sets and costumes are better than Broadway. I would recommend this to anyone, local or tourist.
The show was amazing and spectacular! At first, I was worried that when they shortened the show to fit the Vegas show length that I would be missing out. But I have to say, that I really enjoyed the production! I didn't feel like I had been shortchanged at all. They kept the memorable songs and I left feeling I had seen something spectacular (especially with all of the special effects they put into this custom theater.)
I have seen this show once in NY and twice in Los Angeles - by far this one has more than exceeded my expectations! The Venetian theatre is absolutely fabulous and the cast and entire show was extremely fantastic! I will return to see it again soon!
I recently attended Phantom - great theater, great talent, stuck to the plot of the book better than most phantom of the opera productions (especially the first half). I wouldn't see it twice but I would recommend it to a friend. I wouldn't say it's worth over $100 a ticket, but a good show nonetheless - my favorite part was actually the orchestra. Also, Ms. Daae was quite attractive and really did have an outstanding voice - Eric the Ghost was good, not great. Cast depends on what day you show up - luck of the draw. I'd recommend finding discount codes online. Otherwise, overpriced - you're better off going to any cirque du soleil show.
This show left me speechless, it was that wonderful. During the show, you will truly feel that you are experiencing something special and it will be something that you will never forget. The Phantom (played by Andrew Cavalli) is entirely captivating. His performance draws you in close, swallows you whole and leaves you begging for more. In the end, I couldn't clap loud enough during the standing ovation he received on his performance. If I were a resident of Las Vegas, I would be at each and every showing!!
i was mesmerized the action was flowing the singing was great, the story was flowing,
