    Great Concert

by Twoputt on 11/6/23Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

We thoroughly enjoyed Peter and Paul. Their singing and guitar artistry was astounding, particularly for their age. It was sad to miss Mary but their caring nature reminded us of how meaningful their songs are. We hope they will continue touring for many years to come.

    They still have it

by Orracle on 11/6/23Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

I was a little concerned how this duo would perform without their former trio member. Not to worry. They still can sing and know how to connect with their audience (who sang along with every word) It's nice that these socially aware men from the 60's are still the same in the 20's even though they are in their 80's.

They had the audience do 50% of the singing ! This was an expensive singalong. !

    Wonderful concert

by pickejm on 11/6/23Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey created a wonderful concert on Friday night. I loved singing their classic songs with them and hearing some new ones. My favorite songs were the Wedding Song and Puff the Magic Dragon. Paul told the story of how the Wedding Song came to be and it was fun learning history of that and a number of other songs they sang. My hat's off to these performers.

    GREAT GREAT GREAT

by G. M. on 4/17/19Kupferberg Center for the Arts - Queens

Peter Yarrow is a true professional. His interaction with the audience and his ability to make conversation during the concert is something to admire. He is such a talent and this was one of my best nights out. His love for family and his music is evident when he interacts with his son on stage. The love he projects is so obvious and enjoyable to be part of. I am so glad I got these tickets and the Queens College venue is great for me.

    Deja Vu 50 Years Later

by Veff on 4/16/19Kupferberg Center for the Arts - Queens

Peter Yarrow and his son performed, but I felt like I was with them in my living room. Peter told stories, and engaged the audience. Of course, the songs were those I sang along with during my wonder years! Fond memories! I sang along (as he encouraged us to do) again, and it all felt good. Wonderful show!

    A heart warming performance

by e. on 4/16/19Kupferberg Center for the Arts - Queens

It was amazing to see Peter perform...or rather connect with his audience. Yes he is not a youngster anymore but he really gives it all he’s got. He brings you back to an unforgettable era. He is political and he will never stop being so and showing it through his music, but he does it in order to bring unity...especially now during a divided time. He is funny and loving, as he performs with his adult son (countlessly kissed him and expressed his affection). And he still SINGS BEAUTIFULLY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO C HIM WHILE U CAN

    Magical evening with old friends!

by m8rearc on 3/11/19Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

I an a child of the sixties and have always loved Peter, Paul and Mary. Their early protest songs touched my heart and opened my eyes. I wept when we lost Mary Travers and knew I would never hear my favorite band in concert again. Attending this duo was exciting for me, but I was concerned that it wouldn't be the same with my girl. I needn't have worried. The "boys" confessed the same misgivings but decided that we, the audience, could supply her melody. And so we did, and it was glorious! They sang all their best songs, in great voice, and evoked so many youthful memories. I laughed and cried a little and their message of peace, love and acceptance made me feel a kinship with every person in the room. I urge anybody who has a chance to catch a performance during this tour. I will never forget it.

Peter & Noel Paul Rise to the Occasion

by P,P&M Fan on 3/6/19Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

I have been to approximately 50 P, P & M concerts, or concerts that included Peter & Noel Paul, or individually Mary or Peter throughout the country over the course of more than 50 years. The recent concert of Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey at the Kavli Theatre in Thousand Oaks, California, was phenomenal. The messages contained in the songs by the duo are as appropriate for today's times as many of them were in times past. Peace, love, inclusion, tolerance, justice, an environment were again emphasized throughout the concert. Peter and Noel Paul's commitment to the values remains consistent. The concert was one of the most intimate and emotional that I have ever experienced, and I thoroughly enjoyed it as I have all of their concerts over many years. Bring them back again!

    Peter, Paul (and no Mary)

by N. D. on 3/5/19Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

We enjoyed our time at the concert. I didn’t recognize some of the songs that are probably more recent but that was okay. They did play the old favorites in the second half. The sound at the venue was really excellent.

by Karen on 3/4/19Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this concert. The music, their passion, their humor, the singing along, all added up to such an enjoyable evening. Peter and Paul are such awesome performers that make you feel like you are at a casual gathering in their living room. We hope to see them again.

    Great

by Boston guy on 3/4/19Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

It was uplifting to see Peter and Paul. Although you could feel they missed Mary. They put there hearts into the show and the audience responded. Sad this may be their last hurrah. They changed a generation! Thank you

    Had a wonderful time!!!

by S. S. on 3/4/19Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand Oaks

A beautiful experience. Not only a journey back into my youth but the whole audience was caught up in the loving and beautiful performance of Noah (Paul) and Peter. Have been a huge fan of Peter, Paul and Mary since 1964 and still love them as much today if not more. Thank you dear gentleman for a brilliant performance with such great humor and your enduring love for your audiences and this nation as it was meant to be.

    mixed review

by CherylynnK on 11/5/17Kupferberg Center for the Arts - Queens

The concert was very disappointing and not at all what I expected. I expected that Mr Yarrow would have something to say about today's politics, but did not anticipate that this would be the focus of the evening. Unfortunately, Mr Yarrow had other things in mind. Mr Yarrow continually lectured the group on the current politics, rather than play his music. If you are going to his concert to reminisce, save your money and play some CD's, don't go for the ;lecture. The couple of songs we did hear were great, but could not stand being lectured, and so we left. Maybe Mr Yarrow will realize that the people who came to see him have similar thoughts, and came for the music and not the lecture..

    Paul Yarrow was great

by Htrinko on 11/2/17Kupferberg Center for the Arts - Queens

He sang many memorable songs. He had good banter with the audience. He had us sing along. I bought one of the personally autographed books for my granddaughter. He also sang my favorite song which I requested during intermission.

Peter Yarrow - the message and the music

by FSUTLH on 11/2/17Kupferberg Center for the Arts - Queens

Peter Yarrow is intelligent, thoughtful, funny and humble. His message of peace and harmony is more relevant than ever. I agree with his views and the way he expresses them in his music. It's who he is and it flows out of him, honestly and genuinely. This wasn't just a concert performance; it was also a sing-a-long, with much audience participation. Thanks to Peter, we connected with the people seated near us. My wife was at first almost apathetic about going with me to this concert, but when she was actually there, she went into enjoyment mode. At age 79, Peter promised to perform until he can't perform anymore. Great job, Peter Yarrow. Keep going.
