great really good will go next year would go every day
doesn`t get any better then mindi . beautiful , crazy good sax player . knows how to keep the crowd going . and peter plays the guitar like no one else
This was my second time seeing Mindi, so I knew she would be exciting to watch and listen to. But this event was my first time seeing Peter and I was thoroughly impressed with his performance. They performed together and that made the evening unforgettable and very entertainting. They had people on the floor dancing as Peter played Rick James music as well as his own along with Mindi's contribution. I'm waiting for their next performance together at the Birchmere.
This concert was our first concert at the Birchmere, and it really was fitting to say that it will definatly not be our last! The concert was great, and meeting the artists, they seemed so down to earth. Really great atmosphere.
This was not my first time seeing Mindi in person so I knew I was in for a treat. However, it was my first time seeing Peter and I was blown away by their performances together. They were on stage together and played on each other's songs. I'm looking forward to seeing them together again. The Birchmere was really rocking Friday night and the audience were up on their feet dancing and singing along with Peter and Mindi. Everyone went home happy and satisfied.
Wonderful performance of original music and covers.
Incredible concert......Peter was just amazing on the guitar....Mindi rocked it on the sax and has a great voice. A comfortable intimate vibe with us as there guests. I'll be back next year.
Thoroughly enjoyed the show last night! Was great to hear some of Mindi's newest work...looking forward to Peter White's new CD coming out in two weeks.... Will be back to see Mindi in concert over the holiday season.
We enjoyed this concert, but we didn't like that Mindi turned it into a "come up front and dance" fest. The venue was general admission so we arrived 2 hours before doors opened to be sure we got front row seats. The seats we got were right up front, but there's a small 3-foot wide aisle between us and the waist-high edge of the stage. Several times Mindi told folks to "come on down to the dance floor" referring to this small aisle "as a dance floor". The folks from the back of the room were only more than happy to comply and crammed themselves between us and the stage, stepping on our feet and completely blocking our view of the performers. It really ruined the concert experience for us. We enjoyed the music (although it was way too loud for the small venue), but we won't risk a repeat disappointment by going to see these performers again. We, of course, enjoy a party atmosphere, but we thought this was going to be a concert, not a dance.
Loved the concert. Was hoping Peter White would play more of his older hits. I enjoyed Mindi Abair, but really came to see Peter White. Seems like she played more solo hits than him.
You must go see and hear Mindi Abair and Peter White. Tehy play some old and some new songs. Last night at the Birchmere the audience was on it's feet dancing to the melodies. You must go see them when tehy come to your home town.
My hubby is the big smooth jazz fan...to me, most songs sound the same. But I surprised myself by really enjoying this concert. Amazing talent up on the stage both with the headliners as well as the band. And the songs were mixed up well enough for someone like me. I would definitely see them again...and the venue is GREAT!
I am a Peter White fan,(BIG TIME) and have followed Mindi Abair, it was a VERY big surprise to me to hear that they were married. I was truly blessed last evening to enjoy the both of them showing off thier musical genious and talents, and to see them having fun as a couple. The Lady I brought with me enjoys Jazz music, and she knows of the couple but had never heard them live, we both talked about how wonderful the music was, you could tell by the Spirit of the room at the Birchmere, the Peter White & Mindi Abair can play a Heavenly tune to my Spirit anytime. And Thank God for the Birchmere.
Mindi was very cool and played excellently. Peter was very good and had some great moves on the guitar that he played like an electric guitar. I wish Peter played something from his soon to be out album. Cheers
