Great tour for any baseball fan!

    by K. S. on 1/6/22Petco Park - San Diego

This is a great tour for any baseball fan! Our tour guide was friendly and shared a lot of history and other information about the ball park and the Padres. We started on level 6 and worked our way down to the field, touring a number of suites, visitors locker room, indoor batting cages, press box, and then spent some time on the field. Everyone in our group enjoyed the tour!

    Fantastic Time!

by Clay J on 12/9/21Petco Park - San Diego

If you’re a fan of either baseball, history, or San Diego, you’ll appreciate this. It is time and money well spent. Our tour guides were fantastic, hilarious, and knowledgeable. The ballpark is beautiful and has spectacular views both inside and outside of the field.

    Fun

by CM on 10/20/21Petco Park - San Diego

The tour was fun and informative. I didn’t realize what history the Padres organization had. It was fun to look around the field and inside the park and have access to places that most people can’t go.

    Awesome

by Melissa H on 10/19/21Petco Park - San Diego

Such a great tour! The ballpark is beautiful and the tour guide knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone traveling to San Diego. I'm not a baseball fan, but it didn't matter, the tour was super interesting even for a non-sports person like myself.

    Would definitely recommend!

by Cubs fans on 10/9/21Petco Park - San Diego

The tour was very informative. Our guide was super knowledgeable and did a great job. The only down side for us were that we were not able to go onto the field that day. There was some sort of work being done.

One of best ballpark tours in baseball

by Cody on 8/24/21Petco Park - San Diego

This park caught me by surprise being sick a new park but it’s built into an old supply warehouse that’s part of the left field facade so there’s a bunch of history along w/cool facts about the new park. COVID prevented dugout and locker room visit which was a bummer but still a great tour.

    Petco Park tour

by Phillies on 8/24/21Petco Park - San Diego

The San Diego Padres appreciate history. You can see it throughout the park. Petco Park has great facilities that is shared during the tour. Suggestions: Some tours take photos and then have them available for purchase. Would have liked to get closer to the field.

    No locker room tour

by Disappointed fan on 8/18/21Petco Park - San Diego

I attended a Petco park tour on August 14. I was disappointed that we didn’t tour the locker room or batting cage. Mostly we saw suites and clubs where high rollers pay too much for their seats.

    Great value

by JLPA on 8/4/21Petco Park - San Diego

Our tour guide was knowledgeable about Padres history and players. Some areas that we visited were not on the regular tour route. He gave us an insider look because our group was small.

My kids and I had an amazing time.

    by S. J. on 3/8/20Petco Park - San Diego

The place is amazingly beautiful. There were so many place we would never have seen if we hadn’t had the tour. Our guide was great. He was full of information and fun to tour with. The two places we would have liked to have seen were the dugout (that was specifically listed on the places we would see) and the locker room the entire rest of the tour was so worth the time and the money we spent. Thank you for allowing us in “your house”. Great tour. I definitely recommend.

    Neat Place

    by B. M. on 2/2/20Petco Park - San Diego

I enjoyed the tour of Petco pretty well. I was disappointed that the field had been torn up and was in the process of being filled with dirt for a monster truck rally. Not optimal for picture taking. We did get a special treat and were allowed inside the owner’s suite, which our tour guide had never even been allowed inside. Very cool park. So open to the public surroundings.

    terrible while undergoing construction

by tim on 1/29/20Petco Park - San Diego

I did the Petco Park tour on 01/26/2020 and the field was undergoing construction preparation for motocross with dirt and jumps being installed. This was an eyesore and ruined the experience completely and had I have known I would not have pre-paid for the tour. Secondly, a lot of the areas are undergoing renovation. In the off-season this tour should be half-price or even cheaper as the experience was completely ruined with the dirt etc. As for the tour itself, my guide was Claire and she did a good job considering the state of the ballpark and the fact that we also had another customer on the tour who was a know-it-all about everything Padres and baseball in general. He was constantly talking over the guide and condescendingly questioning the information she was providing. This was not the guides fault however it ruined the tour experience. Overall I would give this tour 0/5 however believe it would be a good tour to do while the baseball season was on.

    Ishmael was great!

by M. on 1/7/20Petco Park - San Diego

Our tour guide was awesome. Accidentally signed up for the Spanish tour and our guide offered us to switch at no cost. We took the Spanish tour and he translated everything for us. He even added a special stop when we showed interest in the announcers

    behind the scenes

    by Y. V. on 12/18/19Petco Park - San Diego

This was a fun behind the scenes tour. Our guide knew his stuff and made it fun and interesting. Being able to take epic photos of the field was the highlight. Sitting in the broadcast booth was a treat. Walking the stadium as if we were a player was a cool experience. Hope to do more tours of other stadiums.

    Nice but limiting

by MB on 11/20/19Petco Park - San Diego

Typical stadium tour where you see visitors clubhouse, press box, the membership affluent eating area, etc. Where I found it limiting was 1) the tour guide often didn't answer the question directly. 2) The Padres made a beautiful Hall of Fame... only to allows us 5 minutes maximum in the room and kicked us out. It's at the end of the tour-- why can't we stay longer to fully read and enjoy all the items they developed? 3) 5 stars would be a wow-- they didn't have any wow factor in the tour. In other stadium tours, they have given special surprise gifts to kids, allowed for more interactive tours, etc.
