Amazing Concert in the Perfect Venue

by Bill on 4/4/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

These guys are special. Their vocals and harmonies are off the charts and I love seeing them in a small venue like the Brighton Music Hall. They have a great time and engage with the crowd between sets. They are a must see anytime they're in the area. Come back soon P+S!!!!

    AMAZING

by betsn on 4/4/22Brighton Music Hall presented by Citizens - Boston

Andy and Kyle just KNOW how to put on a show. They, as expected, are so talented and that really shined through during the show. However, they also know how to interact with a crowd. Definitely one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had!

    Always the best show!

by Alaina on 10/7/19Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

P&S has me hooked the first time I saw them perform back in 2017. I went on recommendation & didn’t know what to expect. They went above & beyond my expectations. Again with this performance, they blew it out of the water. Their stage presence is like no other. It’s almost like they break a 4th wall with how they interact with the crowd. Watching their performance is like a spiritual experience. And big shoutout to Caroline Spence as an amazing opening performance! Can’t wait for the next time!

    Small, Intimate & Powerful

by HawkinsMJ on 9/24/19The Foundry - Philadelphia

This was one of the most enjoyable shows I've been too. The guys were funny, personable, and the venue really allowed you to hear their voices. The small and intimate setting allowed the crowd to really concentrate on the raw talent of Andy & Drew. Also, they chose the perfect opener (Caroline Spence) to compliment their style of music. Definitely will catch them any time they are in Philly!

One of the best folk duos

by Steve on 9/24/19The Foundry - Philadelphia

The minute Penny & Sparrow start singing, the room becomes hushed so that every delicious note can be heard. Beautiful harmonies and soaring voices. A modern Simon and Garfunkle.

    Penny and Sparrow Never Disappoint

by DRNCK on 10/22/17Madrid Theatre - Kansas City

These guys put on a show that is hard to describe. The crowd stands staring mesmerized at Andy and Kyle awestruck. There's no dancing (maybe some swaying), clapping, just a night of listening to talented musicians entertain us and make us laugh. I have seen them four times in Kansas City. I was excited to be at the Madrid instead of the heavy metal Riot Room. The event space was much better, but the sound system was not. Thankfully, it's impossible to make Andy sound bad. Good sound system or not you need to see these guys live. Please note: Penny and Sparrow get 5 stars, and the Madrid receives 3 stars.

    Amazing as always!

    by Chrissy222 on 9/19/17Birchmere - Alexandria

Penny & Sparrow never disappoint with their incredible music, beautiful vocal performance, and irresistible sense of humor. They also have a gift for bringing along great openers that have grown my music library and Lowland Hum was no exception. I just downloaded all of their albums after the show. Great music. Great stage presence. Great experience. In regards to the venue the staff was quick, efficient, and just great at what they did.

    Fantastic!

by Captconan on 9/15/17Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

These guys are amazing. They music is soulful and touching. They interacted with the audience in a humorous and engaging way, all the while telling more of their own story and letting us get to know them. And at this particular venue, the Buckhead Theater, the audience was attentive and respectful, which when listening to a soft folk duo, allows them to truly be heard. Fantastic show, do not miss the next one!

    Very Talented Duo

by Entergraph on 9/13/17U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

My son who's in the band MLW told us we really needed to see these guys and he was right. Very talented duo. The opening act was very good also, Lowland Hum. They complimented each other very nicely. If I could give the Venue, The Bijou, a 10 I would, the sound acoustics are phenomenal.

    More than music

by emilyrosehines on 4/29/17The Basement - Columbus

P&S has an uncanny talent to travel the depth of human emotion within the span of ninety minutes so casually that you barely notice you're feeling more than you've felt in weeks. They give us a tour of the deepest corridors in the human soul through their soothing songs, then crack jokes that makes us laugh so much that the whole room feels like family. They are dually cathartic and entertaining. I felt like my calloused heart had been torn open, but so delicately that I felt lighter and happier and more awake at the end of it. I felt more alive. At the end of the show, a few of the strangers-become-family remarked about their similar experience. If these guys are ever have a show in a vague proximity to you, get there. By car, plane, boat, horse, whatever you need to. You won't regret it.
