Pre-Match Issue
by SC Rusty on 10/27/25Florence Center - FlorenceRating: 4 out of 5Overall the hockey match was a good experience but, the pre-match festivites are way too loud, bordering on hearing damage. If I attend another Icecats match I will not enter the arena until after pre-match stuff is completed. If you are goig to check it out take hearing protection to use during introductions..If you are planning on purchasing consessions they'll cost you more than your ticket ($18.00 for a beer!).

A Fun Family Outing of Excitement
by atkins902 on 10/17/25Florence Center - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5I went to the Pee Dee IceCats home opener weekend at the Florence Civic Center on October 10th and 11th with my daughter and her husband, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! The atmosphere was electric from start to finish — great crowd energy, exciting on-ice action, and a real sense of hometown pride. The IceCats put on an entertaining show both nights, and it was clear the players were feeding off the fans’ enthusiasm. It’s been a while since we’ve had this kind of hockey excitement in Florence, and the team did not disappoint. What also stood out was how affordable everything was. Ticket prices were very reasonable, and the concessions and merchandise didn’t break the bank either — which made it easy to just relax and enjoy the night without worrying about costs. All in all, it was a great weekend of fun, family, and fast-paced hockey. We’re already looking forward to catching the next game and cheering on the IceCats again!

The Florence Center felt like home. Felt very safe. Go support the Pee Dee Icecats if you want a fun night out to let your hair down.
