PBR: Unleash the Beast on Tour

PBR: Unleash the Beast is the biggest annual series in bull riding — the toughest eight seconds in sports, played out again and again from city to city, pitting the most rugged riders against the baddest bulls. Each two-day stop kicks off with pyrotechnics, but the explosions and flames are quickly outdone by the rides themselves — 35 matchups divided into three rounds of dirt-flinging, arm-flailing and fierce performances by all of the athletes in the arena, human and animal alike. In between, the world's most well-known rodeo clown, the beloved Flint Rasmussen, cuts through the tension with humor tailored to each city. Unleash the Beast brings 750 tons of dirt, 65 tons of steer and 25 tons of steel fencing to every venue on the tour. Each rider faces all of that weight as he competes to qualify for the PBR World Finals, where the winner will walk away with $1 million and the coveted gold belt buckle.

PBR: Unleash the Beast Background

The Professional Bull Riders organization was founded by 20 riders who each brought $1,000 to the table back in 1993. Their goal? To bring their sport to the mainstream, increasing public interest and also prize money for the athletes who risk their lives in the arena. They more than succeeded, boosting annual attendance from 310,000 in 1995 to over 3 million today, while securing major television coverage for their top competitions, while awarding more than $180 million to riders over the years. Though PBR: Unleash the Beast began as the Built Ford Tough Series in 2003, it's been the same gold-standard series throughout, with any rule changes along the way meant to make it a fairer and more thrilling contest. The PBR ranks both bulls and riders, ensuring the best of the best lock horns, so to speak, at every stop.

  • WoW! Incredible

by RIISTO on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

This was just amazing! The action was non stop and the production itself was just incredible. If you haven’t gone to the PBR, your missing out!

  • Mostly Great…

Great unobstructed seats, kind and helpful ushers, professional and courteous security. Only reason I’d reconsider the venue: exiting that place was unnecessarily slow. Not enough doors to safely vacate the building quickly. My goodwill if a great event started having me feel like the gated bulls.

Great venue for the show! And a great show of bull riding

  • Fun, Family Event

by Les on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

I brought 4 grandkids, ranging in ages from 7-16. They all enjoyed the show and were excited for their top pick to do well. The constant entertainment kept their eyes glued to what was going on down on the floor. The announcers did well explaining how the scoring worked and what each rider needed to achieve. My only complaint would be a better snack selection for the kiddos. They were disappointed that there wasn't any cotton candy or ice cream. I'm not sure you have any control over that but you can pass on that message, if it doesn't apply to you.

  • Great event, bad sound system

by Amanda on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

The venue and event were great. The bulls and riders never disappoint! However, the sound system was very poor. You could not understand anything they were saying because of a massive echo. It didn’t really affect my enjoyment of the show very much though, because I go to watch them ride!

What a great show! Had trouble with getting our tickets to load via my phone, but went to box office and instantly we were handed printed tickets. We were in the “nose bleed” section, but it didn’t matter! Our view was great and we didn’t miss a thing! Lots of action and entertainment during the event. 8 seconds takes a LONG time!

First time ever going and it was an amazing show! I will defiantly be going back. I got the tickets for my husband because he has been watching on TV for many years and the time was just right to get tickets and go.

  • PBR

by Bill on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 2 out of 5

It was an amazing show of talent. Watching the bull riding itself was outstanding. What took away from the experience was the audio. The acoustics from the sound system were terrible and you couldn’t make out anything that was being said by the announcers or the dialog between announcer and their man in the ring. It would have made the experience better having clear audio.

  • Good experience.

  • Great!

    by TB456 on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

The PBR is always great! Love being back. I like how small the arena is. We had great seats up close but any seat would have been good. Parking was a nightmare and everything in the arena closed well before the show ended so no one could get drinks

  • Amazing Time

by David on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

First time at a PBR event for myself and my family. Everyone had an incredible time, and we will be back for both nights next year.

  • Dull

by Grizz on 10/19/21SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 1 out of 5

Monotonous, boring, dull. 34 riders (plus re-rides) and 28 couldn't get a score. The clown between riders was entertaining...for about 15 minutes...and then grew irritating How about some variety? And think about how to engage customers that aren't right next to the shoots. The formula didn't work for us.
