PBR: Unleash the Beast on Tour
PBR: Unleash the Beast is the biggest annual series in bull riding — the toughest eight seconds in sports, played out again and again from city to city, pitting the most rugged riders against the baddest bulls. Each two-day stop kicks off with pyrotechnics, but the explosions and flames are quickly outdone by the rides themselves — 35 matchups divided into three rounds of dirt-flinging, arm-flailing and fierce performances by all of the athletes in the arena, human and animal alike. In between, the world's most well-known rodeo clown, the beloved Flint Rasmussen, cuts through the tension with humor tailored to each city. Unleash the Beast brings 750 tons of dirt, 65 tons of steer and 25 tons of steel fencing to every venue on the tour. Each rider faces all of that weight as he competes to qualify for the PBR World Finals, where the winner will walk away with $1 million and the coveted gold belt buckle.
PBR: Unleash the Beast Background
The Professional Bull Riders organization was founded by 20 riders who each brought $1,000 to the table back in 1993. Their goal? To bring their sport to the mainstream, increasing public interest and also prize money for the athletes who risk their lives in the arena. They more than succeeded, boosting annual attendance from 310,000 in 1995 to over 3 million today, while securing major television coverage for their top competitions, while awarding more than $180 million to riders over the years. Though PBR: Unleash the Beast began as the Built Ford Tough Series in 2003, it's been the same gold-standard series throughout, with any rule changes along the way meant to make it a fairer and more thrilling contest. The PBR ranks both bulls and riders, ensuring the best of the best lock horns, so to speak, at every stop.
My girlfriend and I had a Fantastic and Wonderfull time.. The only problem we had is we were not able to buy a couple of shirt's.. You need more Vendors selling shirts and food. But we will be back..
It was awesome! I loved the fire, there wasn’t a bad seat in the place, and we had a great time. Can’t wait to go again!

I’ve been attending this event for the last five years with my grandson. There has always been an extra event to add to the excitement (mutton busting, bull fighting, etc). That extra event didn’t happen this year and he was looking forward to it! What’s worse is that it was advertised as a patriotic event, yet there was no recognition of the veterans in attendance. Very disappointing.
Getting into the event was fast and easy. Plenty of security and helpful people

It was so amazing i loved it that night it was my first time going to a professional rodeo like that. I love flint the clown he was funny and i enjoyes watching him dance. I love watching the bullriders. Overall it was just amazing and nice time. Plan on next year on going both days. I recommend everyone go at least once in theor lifetime. Thank you PBR.
If you like rodeos, and being transported for a few hours, definitely book your tickets to the PBR in January. The riders and bulls are incredible athletes, along with the clowns and those who work the gates. The event is well organized and well run, and the feel is as if you have been transported to the West for the night--people are proud of their country and there is a patriotic spirit not to be missed. It's not for the faint of heart- bull riding is no joke and when these massive animals succeed in bucking off the rider, look out! I lived in TX but have been in NYC for years, and it's a great way to get that rodeo fix in the middle of the city. Highly recommend!
I brought tickets for Saturday night as a Christmas gift and everyone had a great time! I would make it an annual thing to go!!
We loved the show and audience! We PBR fans are good people!!
The event was great! The only negative was the electronic display and the sound of the announcing. Only once did we see the name of the rider and the bull up on the screen. It would have been more enjo6able if the stats were updated where everyone could see them, and a display of each rider was shown each time they rode.
HAD A GREAT TIME NEXT TIME I WILL CLOSER TO THE ACTION. BULL RIDING IS FUN

Overall our experience was good. I felt I little left out because in the area our seats were located, weren’t included in the giveaways. But it’s no big deal. We will definitely be attending.
This was my first PBR experience, and it was so much fun! We had such a great time, can wait to come back next year!
The show was awesome, super exciting! Took the whole family plus kids, and we all realy enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend going!
My family goes every year to this event, the experience is one of a kind, this year we celebrated my granddaughter 4th birthday she enjoyed it as much as we did. Can't wait until next year.
I had the isle seat and so many people kept walking up and down from the section to our left ( seemed like a vip section) that they blocked most of the runs until I had to say something cause the ushers wouldn’t do anything. We even had a photographer standing up in the isle blockIng most of us so he could get event photos. He blocked 2 of the championship runs back to back.
I had no idea what to expect from this event and had never been to one before. This was one of the most fun times I have ever had and now my friend and I follow all of the riders, keep up with the competitions, and became avid fans just from seeing this event once. I can’t wait to go to my next one.
Amazing show as always but it could have been a bit longer. Also, it would be helpful for the ongoing names and stats to show up on the leader board throughout the show.
