Rating: 5 out of 5 A Taste of West in the East
by nanikin on 3/12/12Hampton Coliseum - HamptonProfessional Bull Riding (PBR) Pro Touring Division - With tickets ranging from $10-$40, this is a family friendly event that features professional cowboys riding (or attempting to ride) fierce bulls. The commentary is lively and there is a rodeo clown to entertain the crowd. Background music (loud rock) is used to ramp up the crowd. We did not use them, but you may want to bring earplugs for children. The bulls are fun to watch and very unpredictable. Occasionally, the bull would sit down in the corral and refuse to come out. Others nearly jumped the gate. At the conclusion of a ride, a man on a horse with a lasso would guide / chase the bull back into the corral. The different reactions and personalities of the bulls made this a very fun event to watch. Approximately 20 cowboys participated in the event, each riding three times. It lasted about 2 1/2 hours. Tips: Get seats as close to the corral as possible. This event is not nearly as dusty or smelly as I thought it would be. There is a pre-event Corral Party which gives visitors an opportunity to meet the cowboys. Tickets for the Corral Party were $10 though the local Farm Fresh had free passes. We had a great time and would definitely go again.

Rating: 3 out of 5 PBR Night...not too bad
by TwistedAngel1119 on 3/12/12Hampton Coliseum - HamptonThis was my first PBR, so I am not going to bash it in anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed parts of it, but others not so much. They seemed disorganized and kept interupting one another, but I think I would definitley go again. My children and husband loved it, but I don't think it was worth what I paid for the tickets, souveniers and concessions. $9 for a beer is ridiculous.
Rating: 5 out of 5 PBR rocked the house!!
by TonyaB79 on 3/12/12Hampton Coliseum - HamptonThis day was unforgettable with my daughter. We had a blast watching this event . The only thing I was not happy about was having to purchase extra tickets to enter the arena early when other people were given free passes with their tickets. Other wise it was a great night filled with lots of action of bulls and cowboys!

Rating: 4 out of 5 Raging Bulls
by CRUCO on 3/12/12Hampton Coliseum - HamptonI thought the event was well organized from start to the end. The pre-liminary leading up to the intro was too long. No need to pump up the crowd, just TURN THE RAGING BULLS LOOSE!!! Once gate opened it was none stop action and the bulls were the fiestest I have seen in my three years of going to this event. The crowd was also larger than I can remember and responded well to struggle between rider & bull. Great entertainment!!!!!!

by mustangtamer on 3/12/12Hampton Coliseum - HamptonThis was my first PBR tour event, I am from Vermont and there we only have Candian tour PBR, I wanted to see the way USA PBR does it, very impressive for having such a small arena.

Rating: 3 out of 5 PBR in Hampton
by HighMaintenance1 on 3/12/12Hampton Coliseum - HamptonSitting in the dark for 20 minutes got tedious, the cowboys being introduced, the prayer, the national anthem all just went on and on. It was my first time and I think I expected more, the clown was funny and there were good rides but after awhile I was just over it.
