PBR: Professional Bull Riders on Tour
For a rodeo rider, trying to master a feisty horse is tough enough, a task not to be taken lightly, but bearing down on a big bull increases the scariness quotient considerably. That's one of the things that makes watching a pro bull rider so compelling — it's thrilling and frightening in equal measure as you marvel at the riders' skills while praying that they make it out unscathed.
These days, when it comes to bull riding, it's all about PBR: Professional Bull Riders. The organization started back in 1992 as a grassroots effort spearheaded by a handful of riders with a vision for what the sport could offer to fans. PBR grew by leaps and bounds over the decades, and by the 2010s they were sponsoring three major tours every year, adding up to hundreds of events with millions of dollars in prizes being awarded annually.
Needless to say, attending a PBR event means watching the best bull riders in the business strutting their stuff. Over the years, champs like J.B. Mauney, Kody Lostroh, Justin McBride, Adriano Moraes, Chris Shivers, and Tuff Hedeman have all distinguished themselves as decorated heroes of the PBR, giving all the rest a high standard to which they could aspire. And each of their tours offer fans the opportunity to catch some bull riding history in the making, be it the Unleash the Beast Series that ends with the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, The Velocity Tour that showcases the rising stars of the PBR, or the Touring Pro Division split into Western, Central, and Eastern regions.
Whichever PBR competition you end up catching, there's one common thread. You're guaranteed to see some world-class athletes reaching deep inside themselves to tap into the best of their talents and give rodeo lovers an unforgettable experience.

It was a good experience. Exciting when riders would qualify.
For the first time that the PBR came to the Tri Cities I hope it is not the last. This event was action packed and VERY fun. I love watching the PBR on TV however in person it is different and a whole new experience. I had no negatives only positives so that is why I gave it a 5 star rating. I mean it's just something brand new in the Tri Cities and if they can keep coming back every year or so that would be amazing. Anyways I don't know what else to say other than go to a PBR event if you can because it is crazy cool.
Had great view and enjoyed the atmosphere. The overall experience was incredible and we had such a good time.
Loved that they came closer to home. The event was well organized and super fun. Hope they come back again next year, and every year after.
Love the PBR, one of the only sports left that hasn't gone woke, very patriotic! Great show in a great Arena, come back next year!
Event was on time and all bull riders and the bulls were on point. The big screen was a plus if you didn't have a real good seat. I really enjoy the PBR events. They are always a blast to watch.
Great time for all staff is friendly and helpful the PBR staff is friendly and attentive and very professional
We loved seeing it in person. When you see the bulls in person, you understand how dangerous it really is. They play music the whole time and I guess I never heard the music watching on television and the entertainment from the life savers. The only thing is that it seems that there are long breaks, we assume that is for commercial breaks.
This was my first live PBR event. I was very impressed. Looking forward to my next event .
First time to a PBR performance, absolutely loved just so so sorry for accident that happened day after. My prayers go out to riders family.
So entertaining from begining to end. Never a dull moment. Fun for everyone. Respectful, fun, heroic, patriotic.
We had a great time. Definitely worth going to again
My son & daughter-in-law got us our tickets! As a gift 👍🏽 We had awesome seats💺 ! Great show👍🏽💯 ,
Great seats, fun time. Not a lot of booths advertising their products.
Clowns and prizes kept the show going. Non stop bull riding, non stop excitement.
Great event. Great venue. Price for parking and food was outrageous.
My husband and i try to go to this every time it comes around, just love watching these ride these bulls. Wish it was more often but please keep it going 💙❤
This has become our family annual event. Always clean, easy access, great parking, competent security, pleasant ushers and guest services. The bulls are clearly well conditioned and enjoying the show too. Must admit - The Bulls Clearly Won. While cowboys were carried out, the bulls were happy to exit once they had their way with the Riders and none of them showed even a scratch. Sound system and screens for easy viewing even from the highest level of seats. So glad they come to Grand Rapids. That is about one hour drive for us and well worth every minute.
i had goosebumps the whole entire rodeo. it was an amazing way to end summer
