Awesome Show is my Paul and Storm cover band.

While it would have been cool to see them opening for Jonathan Coulton, I had a ton of fun watching them as the headliners. They ran through most of their better known songs, a couple deeper cuts like The Ballad of Eddie Praeger, and, out of nowhere, a TED talk. I'd also never seen Mike Phirman before, though I knew of Hard 'n Phirm, and he was excellent. I now feel the need to hunt down some of his music, especially "One for Them and One for Me." Also, there was one touching moment, almost completely out of left field. Neil Armstrong just passed away not too long ago, and in memory of him, Paul and Storm and Phirm performed Elton John's "Rocket Man." That was great, and a pitch perfect memorial. The food was expensive as crap, but I can't blame P&S for that.
