About

It isn’t often that one concert ticket allows you to witness two groundbreaking artists share the stage. That’s why when Paul Simon and Sting announced that they were embarking on a tour together, excitement for the event was sky high. Not only will the two living legends perform together, but they’ll also treat the crowd to separate solo sets of their classic tunes. Both artists and their immensely talented backing bands are famed for delivering masterful live performances utilizing multi-ethnic instrumentation and world rhythms inspired by music around the globe.  Paul Simon, of course first made his mark as an American songwriting legend as one half of the duo Simon and Garfunkle, yielding timeless classics like “Mrs. Robinson,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Scarborough Fair” and “Sounds of Silence.” He embarked on a successful solo career and produced the critically acclaimed albums One Trick Pony and Graceland among others, as well as the hits “Slip Slidin’ Away,” “Still Crazy After All these Years” and “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover.” Sting first gained international attention as the lead singer, songwriter, and bass player of ‘80s rock band The Police—a groundbreaking act that produced a string of hit songs, including “Roxanne,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Message In a Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does is Magic.” Like Paul Simon, Sting also enjoys a phenomenally successful solo career which has spanned decades, releasing acclaimed albums including Nothing Like the Sun, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, and Ten Summoner’s Tales, and topping the charts with hits like “If You Love Somebody Set Them Free,” “Fields of Gold” and “If I Ever Lose My Faith In You.” Needless to say, demand for Paul Simon and Sting tour tickets is high, as they’ll gain lucky fans access to what is sure to be an unforgettable concert experience.

    Enjoyed

by marlajfish on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

I enjoyed the concert, we were far away but it was interesting seeing how they worked together and apart. I've seen nearly every Paul Simon tour in the last 30 years and this was unique. I would be interested to see the end of the tour and see what they've changed since they said they were experimenting. It took the sound engineers a few minutes to get the sound mix right which was annoying, but they did get it on. I brought binoculars which we needed because of our seats' location. Awhile ago, I swore I'd never go see another concert in a basketball arena due to poor sound quality, but considering this USED to be a basketball arena, it didn't have much in the way of echoes or sound bouncing.

    Amazing Concert!

by KittyKatKris on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

Loved this concert, seeing these two icons together was an awesome experience! I grew up listening to the music of Simon & Garfunkel, and the Police as well. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I was pleasantly surprised that both artists had solo time, alternating with them performing together.

When two of two of the World's finest musicians get together with a very talented collection behind them, the audience is in for a special treat. The hits of Paul Simon and Sting, just rained down on us and we thought we were in music heaven. Thank you!

The remodeled Forum was superb but Paul Simon and Sting were even better. Great music from great bands and a wonderful sound system. The tickets from Ticketmaster were excellent.

Paul Simon & Sting were amazing

by SwissMissTich on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

I loved how they started together and then kept switching around, Sting would play, then Paul, then them together etc. The acoustics were really great but the seating leaves something to be desired as well as them only having one big screen to see the act from so if you're sitting on the side like we did, you could barely see it. It's so cramped and me and my friends are fairly little, I'm the tallest at 5'8" and 128lbs. After a while we had to go for a walk just to stretch our legs and then we ended up watching the last 1/2 hour of the concert standing up. Traffic is really bad too so go early and be prepared to get home late.

    Wanted Bigger Encore

    by Davo1 on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

Venue was a bit over controlled. Show ended promptly at 11PM, which only allowed time for a one song encore. It seemed like other venues on the tour had a four song encore. Also, I found out the hard way that several folks did not want me to standing during the rock concert! Come on people...this is a live show, when the music starts, stand up, be counted, and move with the groove.

    Great event, lousy venue

by Jaaled on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

Concert was excellent. Parking at venue was miserable and I will stay away from Forum for future events. The streets around venue were so clogged it took over an hour to get the 2 miles from fwy to forum. It was horrible. And the $25 parking I felt was outrageous too. There are many other venues in LA. I do not need to shlep out to Inglewood again. Stay away from Forum! Things need to greatly improve.

Sting singing Bridge Over Troubled Water Beautiful

by LindaSD on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

Loved the entire concert. The songs were nostalgic and the guys still have it going on. Sting was especially great with very few pitch issues - amazing voice at the age of 62...Paul's songs are nostalgic. A few to many pitch issues that a good vocal coach could help with. Again...wonderful to see a 72 year old there shaking it up.

Paul Simon and Sting Concert = PHENOMENAL!

    by Adele8148 on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

BEST concert ever . . . bar none! Huge kudos to the person who came up with the idea to pair musical legends Paul Simon and Sting! Enjoyed every single minute of their amazing 3-hour show! They performed many of their hits separately and together . . . and performed a number of each other's hits. Both sounded incredible and were backed by an amazing band. If you like Sting and/or Paul Simon, you MUST see this concert!!!

    Simon & Sting were awesome!

by CJCroll on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

A good ole rock and roll concert. 17 piece band. Great voices, 2 1/2 hours of songs and sounds without the dance routines or pyrotechnics of new concerts. No breaks. Their voices blended and the new renditions were exciting and upbeat. Starting out together, then Simon sang his favorites, then more together and Sting sung his together then another Simon and another Sting then ending it with songs together. Their new version of Bridge over Troubled Water was unbelievable. Sting really took that song and owned it with Paul Simon. Sting's female singer is a part headliner as well, she has a great range and complimented Sting's songs beautifully. Paul Simon was a rock star up there dancing and playing his guitars. Wonderful to watch and here. Highly recommended. The audience danced and sang through the entire concert.

Paul Simon & Sting Awesome!! I'm a huge Paul Simom fan, he killed. Pretty cool to here him and Sting perform songs together. Not a big Sting fan, but he played several recognizable songs.

They were awesome together. Complimented each other well! Loved the songs they did solo and especially the ones they did together. If they released an album together, I'd definitely buy it! Enjoy your tour guys! Come back soon!

    Great pairing

by Bivor on 2/18/14The Forum - Inglewood

The concert was the best I've been to in years. The music board operator was the best. The blend and volume were on target. The choice of music was great. The rotation and transition on stage was truly wonderful.
