    Patty was amazing!!

by scud5 on 11/20/10Club Regent Casino - Winnipeg

The concert was really great, she sounded terrific. The only issue I might have, but this has nothing to do with her or her band is the lighting, they didn't seem to have enough light on her. Her face was often in a shadow. But she and her awesome band were fantastic!! Have seen her many times over the years and this was one of her best shows.

Patty Loveless is the 65th member of the Grand Ole Opry and one of the classiest ladies of Country Music. I loved every minute of her show at the Snoqualmie Casino. Her voice was beautiful and her band was awesome. I feel very blessed to have been able to attend.

This concert was one of the best concert I've seen this year, and I've seen a few. Her voice is amazing and she was good at engaging the audience. She didn't need a lot theatricals to make a great show, just her and her band make a very entertaining show.

    Patty was terrific

We loved her. She is all about the music. I once heard Vince gill talk about patty. He said that she loves country music and all she wants to do for her fans is put on a good show and sing her heart out. She did just that on Thursday night. Her male backup singer is really good. Their harmonies were really beautiful. The band was excellent and they all had fun personalities.

    Patty Loveless was phenomenal!!!

    by Gelmir on 10/9/10Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Patty Loveless is effortless!! She has a tone so rich and a voice as pure as a songbird!!! Therefore it comes as no surprise that she is the 65th member of the Grand Ole Opry... When she performs time just falls away.... I was enraptured by her beauty and her grace!!! I absolutely love the way her voice carries me away to other places in time.... I look forward to the time when I can see her again.

    A fabulous voice!

    by Anonymous on 10/9/10Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

The theater is great! Not a bad seat in the house! The sound system and stage set/light show is fantastic. The seven piece band was tight and very talented. They played both electric and acoustic sets and not a bad note was heard. We loved every minute of the show, though it could have been longer. We were home by 9pm. on our big night out.

    Patty Loveless is a Pro!

    by DarkStar14 on 10/9/10Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - Snoqualmie

Patty Loveless treated a packed house to a 90-minute show from the collected works of the last 22 years. Her voice remains spot-on gorgeous, with the beautiful delivery and nuance that still causes the hair on my neck to stand to attention. The heartbreak in her ballads in palpable---you might feel like you want to take her in her arms and tell her it will be alright--- someday, anyway. She was personable and generous with the crowd. She still seems to enjoy her work and comes off as genuine and sincere without pretension or conceit. Her band was solid and accomplished, although her young, beautifully-coiffed young back-up vocalist/fiddler could learn to smile more. The sound could have been better on the instruments where we sat at second row center, as there were no amps onstage, and the PA was set far too high, as is the common misguided practice these days, but the view was superb!

    Intimate venue, jammin' Patty

by Poofypuppy on 9/25/10Birchmere - Alexandria

Saw Patty Loveless at the Birchmere (Alexandria, Virginia) on Thursday night. It was my first time to see any artist at the Birchmere, which is a very intimate venue for watching any concert (and a place to eat some pretty good food before the show also). Patty has such a large number of country hit songs to her name that, even though she and her band played 20 songs, they could have played another 15-20 songs and still not covered all her hits. That said, there were also a few (new/old) songs that were new to me, which I enjoyed just as much. It's hard for me to describe (you know it when you hear it), she and her band have a musical style that is a bit more Appalachian in nature (perhaps her album title "Mountain Soul" says it better) that I really appreciate the chance to listen to. She is not a flashy performer, but the depth of feeling in her music is not matched by many, which is befitting a member of the Grand Ole Opry. She has always been one of my favorite female country artists, and I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to see Patty perform in person. I'd give the concert 4.5 stars out of 5, which I'll round up to 5 since she's such a classy and distinguished artist. :-)

    Patty Loveless was awesome

The best I have ever heard her. Her voice is in perfect shape, her backup band is talented and professional, the arrangements are perfect. She seems comfortable with who she is and what she is doing.
