    PT still rocking

by scooter1717 on 3/23/14South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe - Stateline

PT came out rocking back to back "classics", then went into some newer stuff, blues, and more classics. The fever pitched as he went through great versions of Boom- Boom, Heat in the Street, and on cored with Getting Betta and Radar Love. If you love Travers, this was a great show for you!

by PlanetKing on 3/19/14South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe - Stateline

Best PTB show I've seen in years. (and I don't miss Travers shows) The band was spot on, the energy of both the band and the crowd was off the charts! If you're a fan - don't miss it. If you've not experienced Pat - you are way overdo, get busy!!!!! Thanks to Pat, Kirk, Rodney and Sandy for a spectacular evening.

    Pat Travers Jammed!

by HeatInTheStreet on 3/18/14South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe - Stateline

I had seen Pat a few times over the years and he is always great, but last Saturday night he was insanely great. He has not lost a step and always tours with a talented band and fantastic drummer. My buddies and I left the show in awe and happy we made the 3+ hour trip to see him!

    Great show!

by willkwllms on 3/18/14South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe - Stateline

Harrah's South Shore room is a great place to see a concert. It didn't appear there was a bad seat in the house. The concert wasn't too loud and the bar line was short. PT played a great variety from old to new music. Overall - this was a great show!

    pat band

by GeoAS on 3/18/14South Shore Room at Harrah's Lake Tahoe - Stateline

Old rock and blues, enjoyed very much. Some folks who attended were Day on the Green in Oakland survivors.

Pat Travers and his band know how to play rock and roll. The South Shore Room at Harrah's is a perfect place to see them or anyone.

    PT ROKS.....

by neverstoprocking on 8/10/11B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

BB Kings is an awesome place to see a show, I do not believe that any seat would be a bad one. Pat, Kirk, Sandy and Rodney rocked the house!!!!!!!!! They also had a meet and greet at the end of the show which was great to be able to talk to each of the them, photo ops and autographs. Great, great show. We can not wait to see them again.

    Opening Act Steals the Show!

by UConnRob on 12/26/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Luke Mulholland Band was brilliant as the opening act for this show. When will they get their own performance as the headliner. They are an exciting, musically gifted and fun to watch band.

Pat Travers at Showcase Live Foxbough

by scungecake on 12/26/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

First of all .Showcase Live is a great venue to watch a show. It was my first time there, great place. The Pat Travers Band had so much energy on stage as usual. Playing mostly old songs which my highlights were Heat IN The Streets, Rock 'n' Roll Susie and Stevie. I would of liked to here more from the new album Fedelis, although they did play Ask Me Baby which kicked ass and Josephine which was a pleasant surprise. The musicianship was a+. The only downfall I would give to this show was sound. Way too loud.I know Pat's music is best loud, but this was overkill. Guitars were so peircing loud it was hard to hear Pat's vocals. When Sandy played double bass which was pretty awsome, it was basically all you heard. Other than that a real crowd pleaser. Pat is still playing to kick your ass!!!!!!!!

    P T ROCKS !!!!!

by zenagain on 12/25/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Another truly amazing show by PT and the boys. There is not too many bands that can play as tightly as PT. Showcase Live is a fantastic place also. Sound there is top notch and food is good too. PT was just totally awesome and played a great lineup of old and new stuff that had the whole place rockin. C'mon back guys you know I will be there.

    Guitar Heaven

by PGeo on 4/26/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Yes they're aging, but very "Still Alive & Well" Both guy's show you why they are criticallly acclaimed guitarists The bands are tight, professional & appear to be enjoying what they are doing, except for P.T.'s drummer, Sean (hopefully, just a little under the weather that night), somewhat uninspired. Can't help but to enjoy these 2 guys, Ricks set was memorable & Pat, you are always right on ! Peace

Pat Travers and Rick Derringer were both great!

by spatacus on 4/25/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Both classic musicians / vocalists / composers were in top form in a great venue. The mix of classics and new material blended perfectly with the energetic services of top notch band members. The warm up act Dan Lawson was no slouch either. Three hours plus of great rock & blues for a reasonable price in a comfortable setting.

    Pat Travera Rick Derringer

    by flo33 on 4/25/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Alot of names come up when you ask the question: Who is the greatest guitar player ever ? Hendrix, Clapton, Page, Satriani and the usual names come up. There is no one person who is the absolute best, but anyone who saw this show can honestly say the names of Pat Travers and Rick Derringer should be mentioned. These two are as good as anyone and in my opinion, two of the best ever. I've seen both Pat Travers and Rick Derringer in concert before and I can honsestly say they are both better now than ever. You also have to give credit to both of their bands. All the members of these bands are some of the best drummers bass players and guitar players around. There is alot more I could say, but if you saw this show and didn't feel the way I did after it was over, either you hate rock n roll or there's something wrong with you.

    PT Rocks

by zenagain on 4/24/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Great show last night. The opening band was surprisingly good and the guitarist was amazing. Rick Derringer was good...I was kinda skeptical at first about him as he is a bit more towards the pop culture but he really jammed it out and was only boring a few times. Now for the main liner. PT was simply amazing as always. His voice was a bit raspy at times but he has been heavily touring new england and I am sure that's why. The band was incredibly tight and all the songs were fantastic. Can't wait for the plymouth show now. See you there PT.

    A Geezer-Fest, but still fun

by Bertco on 4/24/10Showcase Live - Foxboro

Opening band was actually really, really good (can't remember the name, but a blues-based 4-piece). Rick Derringer came on and played a bunch of new material, a few oldies (Hang On Sloopy, Rock & Roll Hootchie Coo). His bass player was a character on stage (played a 5-string left-handed, but strung right-handed). Rick's solo's were okay, but you can tell he is not at the top of his game any longer. Still, a respectable performance. Pat Travers was why most of us came I assume, and he didn't disappoint. He played a great selection of his older material, plus 3 or 4 from a new CD he just released. I saw PT back in the mid-80's, and the Pat Thrall/Tommy Aldridge/Mars Cowling line-up was THE best. His band last night was good, but not of the same caliber. PT still sounds great, plays well, and has a good sense of humor. It certainly looked like Paul Reed Smith endorsement, as every guitar he and his co-guitarist played was a PRS.
