About

PASTOR TROY IN CONCERT:

Crunk rapper Pastor Troy has been a major force in the Dirty South ever since his aptly titled 1999 debut We Ready (I Declare War). Since then he's unleashed an astounding 25 albums, and has made an equally impressive number of guest appearances on tracks by artists ranging from Ludacris to Lil' Jon. The ever-prolific Pastor Troy is a generous performer, and he never fails to bring the heat on his must-see tours with electrifying performances of fan-favorites like "Are We Cuttin'" and "Ridin' Big".

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Georgia-born Pastor Troy, a.k.a. Micah LeVar Troy, took his rap name from his pastor father. After studying at Paine College he made his album debut in 1999 with We Ready (I Declare War). Following successful collaborations with Ludacris and Lil Jon, Pastor Troy made his major label debut in 2001 with Face Off, which landed at No. 13 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart on the strength of the cerebral single "Vice Versa". Follow-up album Universal Soldier was an even bigger success, peaking at No. 2 with hot singles like "Are We Cuttin'" and "You Can't Pimp Me". The ever-prolific rapper continued to release albums throughout the '00s, including four records released in 2010 alone. Back in 2014 with Welcome To The Rap Game, Pastor Troy has ticket buyers eagerly awaiting another tour.

by Kisha1973 on 1/8/20Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

So far the best night this year. Concert started late my only issue. But once it started it was no stop dancing. All the performers did a wonderful job. The crowd was excited for the whole concert. Drinks were reasonable and restrooms were clean.

Some of the rappers of Alana that is old-school could’ve stayed out of the show.

    The concert was lit, but.....

by NayNay on 1/7/20Center Stage Theater - Atlanta

The concert was great, only thing was the seating was very uncomfortable and entirely to close to others. Couldn't really enjoy or dance like you wanted in fear of being in another person space. Maybe another small venue like Center Stage with better seating . My 6'5 husband was very uncomfortable even though I made sure he had a end seat to stretch his legs. Other than this, I enjoyed it looking forward to the next one.
