About

Mike Rosenberg, known better as Passenger, is a British singer/songwriter quickly impacting the folk-rock scene with his earnest and introspective lyrics. Passenger was formerly a band fronted by Rosenberg that released a number of albums before the band members parted ways. Rosenberg continued with the name, and his latest release, All the Little Lights, is a folk-rock, indie-pop album filled with songs of loss, love, and hope. Critics have praised Rosenberg for his charming and unique voice, poignant yet witty lyrics, and an album that feels fleshed out with additional strings, brass, and restrained percussion. Storming up the Billboard Hot 100, the single “Let Her Go” is a charming, whimsical, and lyrically remorseful song about a relationship in retrospect. Rosenberg supported fellow Englishman Ed Sheeran for most of 2012 before embarking on his first US headlining tour in summer 2013. Concertgoers applaud Rosenberg for his intimate one-man-band shows, raw talent, and charming banter. With tickets selling out for shows across Europe and Australia, fans anticipate an unfaltering music career ahead for this talented singer/songwriter.

    Who needs a band...

    by dori79 on 8/5/14Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

... when you have a guitar and an amazing voice? Passenger's show was entertaining and emotional. He is an incredible talent. He is also very "normal", humble, witty and has a bit of a potty-mouth. Anyone who likes his songs, needs to see him perform them live. Magical!

Passenger is absolutely hilarious and the concert created an amazing connection between the artist and the listeners. I will say, this was not a head-banging, get up and dance kind of concert but it was an amazing musical experience.

by RMMartinson on 8/23/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I had a great time at the Passenger concert. He put on a great show. Passenger interacted with the crowd a lot by involved them by letting them sing and involving them in his stories. He performed to perfection also. If anybody wants to go to a great show and see an underrated singer I recommend going to a Passenger concert!

    This night was magical.

by arlgz2dc on 8/23/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

If Passenger comes around, please do not hesitate to see him. This night was unforgettable and simply magical. His vocals were absolutely wonderful - crisp, clear, and better than the recorded version! He was very interactive and personal with the audience. He told tons of stories that wove into his songs, his jokes were hilarious and adorable, and he was inspirational. He encouraged that we really be present and listen, instead of jsut taking pictures the whole time. Everyone singing "Holes" together was inspiring, as well.

    Passenger was wicked awesome!!!!

by hayze33 on 8/23/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I was thoroughly pleased with the whole event the venue was the perfect size, not a bad seat in the house, and my friend and N managed to snag third row positions. not only was Mike amazing, so was the opening act, Stu Larsen He was very talented I highly reccomend both artists. the show itself was great, with witty comments in between songs, and a lovely duet between Passenger and Stu near the end. This is by far the best concert I have been too, and I saw Taylor Swift at Gillete a few weeks ago! Passenger is a must see show. its very fun and the guitarwork by both musicians was wicked awesome. So sad its over! Would defintely see anoither one of his concerts, and gained a new muscisian, Stu is great also!

From the moment Mike stepped onto the stage there was a great energy in the room!! From the stories about the songs to the jokes and comments made throughout the show, I was thoroughly entertained! His supporting artist Stu Larsen is extremely talented and was a great addition to the evening! If ever you get the chance to see either of these guys live DO IT!!!

Mike better known as Passenger was amazingly charming and charismatic with great energy and stage presence. He was totally humble about his recent success and treated the crowd like friends and family and really fed off the energy. Would have payed triple to see this performance it was that good.

Passenger & Stu Larsen were beyond extraordinary!!

by Levvv on 8/12/13The Basement - Columbus

I went to the show with my sister because we both really liked passenger. We had seen him back in September opening for Ed Sheeran, and that's where our love started. Before the Ed show I looked him up and listened to some of his music, the same way I listened to Stu's music when I bought the passenger tickets back in April. Passenger was amazing on a stage where people wouldn't listen and were talking over him (ed concert), but at his own concert you could hear a pin drop when he sang. The crowd was memorized by his and Stu's voice. Because the basement is so small the venue wasn't filled with people who didn't want to be there, which was a nice change. I can honestly say this was the best concert I've been to. From the phenomenal singing, o the kind and interested crowd that didn't talk through every song, to the location which made it very intimate. Mike was able to unplug and sing a song completely acoustic since people were quiet and interested; the only time I've seen an artist successfully do that before was ed sheeran. I'd be interested to see how Ed Sheeran would perform in the basement. Ed, Mike, and Stu are all so talented it doesn't matter where they are. All in all, though, like I said best concert I've been to by far. It was such a quality show of pure music and no autotune (and sometimes no amps!). If there is ever a concert at the basement with a band you like don't hesitate to buy the tickets! You won't regret it!

    Passenger is an amazing musician!

    by Lisa71F on 8/11/13The Basement - Columbus

Just an amazing concert with a very talented singer/songwriter. He has passion for his music and it shows through his concert. His opening act Stu Larsen was just as incredible. And they are a great combo if you are looking for that indie/folk relevant artist that is missing in todays music.
