Best concert ive ever been to. five40 tatanka and passafire
Went with my daughter and my service dog, had a great time. Was really surprised how good the intro bands were. Passafire of course was great. The staff were courteous and helpful. Have been to the Masquerade many times, great venue.
Despite being a relatively small venue, both bands had incredible energy and rocked OUT. It certainly helped that the crowd was definitely into it; I had never heard of Devils Lettuce but a large number of fans knew many of their lyrics and were singing along, which the band vibed off of very well. Passafire kicked ass, of course, and the crowd was just as into it, although only a small number of people were really getting into dancing and singing along. They still played incredibly, and I was shocked that they didn't sell out The Basement easily.
Passafire is always the best in this venue just complimented them their style even more! Love this venue & love this band so glad they got brought together!
I got my boyfriend these tickets as a birthday present because he loves Passafire, and I went in knowing that I enjoyed some of their music.. but I did not know they were going to put on such an amazing show! I had a great time and can't wait to see them again soon!
Talked my relatives in going to one my favorite bands, Ballyhoo! Great rock, reggae blend with Howie's smooth vocals. The venue site lines were not good, and had to work to get in the middle where you could see and hear better. It's a basement after all.
Unbelievable. 5th time I've seen them and they continue to amaze me. Every new song they played was awesome too.
Their music in itself is amazing, but then you add the fact that it's live and they are putting their hearts into the show? Just fantastic. These guys have such great energy and presence on the stage. Can't wait until they are in the area again!
Paasafire was pretty damn awesome. The warm-up bands were pretty weak, but Passafire made up for it.
Had a blast at the Passafire show! Very high energy and sounded amazing. They sre very appreciative of their fans & know how to show them a good time! If you enjoy reggea check out Passafire. They will not dissappoint.
An amazing band! I have been to about 15 of there shows and this last one at the 8x10 was so incredible! The sound was perfect and the energy of the crowd was like none other! I beg anyone who reads this to check them out if they are in your area.
Sweet sweet time with some awesome music. Opened with Pacific Dub. Young guys, never heard of em, but they rocked it. Guitarist was some static enegry, and they did an awesome job of setting the tone for the rest of the night. Tomorrows Bad Seeds show up and DAMN! Way cooler live than I was prepared for. Trippy ass lights goin on behind em got me totally amped. With their sick bass lines, and dubstep breakdowns they put on an awesome show. Finally PASSAFIRE showed up and brought down the house!! They played all of my favorite songs, with the most passion I have seen from any other band ever. Funny dudes stickin jokes at eachother inbetween songs. Involved with the audience. Excellent, Energy, Awesome!
This was probably my favorite Passafire concert. They sounded great, did a bunch of requested songs and made it epic. The moshing could've been left out, but it's definitely never a dull moment at a Passafire concert.<3
I have been waiting to see these guys for about 3 years now, and the other night gave me chills, made me laugh and dance, and even brought a little tear to my eye when they played dimming sky acoustic. Seriously, Will RIPPED on the bass, I've never enjoyed watching someone play their instrument as much as I did him. I just wanna be their friend haha, they are amazing.
Great show! Never had heard of Jimkata but they were great, and Passafire was amazing as usual. Played for over an hour. The sound quality is very good at the 8x10, and the price for the show was very affordable.
Great line up of bands, the sound quality in the 8x10 was great, and Passafire played for over an hour! My only complaint was that doors were supposed to be 7, but the bands were told 8, so music didn't even start till after 8:30. Other than that, It was an awesome tuesday night!
I heard alot about Passafire before this concert, how they were so good live and how the concert would be amazing, but it turned out to be nothing special. The transitions into metal-like sequences from the reggae mood were abrupt and gave way to alot of pushing and shoving which I think is not how reggae music should be enjoyed. To be honest, the Supervillains were better than the featured band, Passafire, because they have an incredible saxaphonist who set the bar too high for Passafire to be able to compete.
The music was great but the crowd there was lame! It was a bunch of highschoolers who's moms had to pick them up for curfew.
